  1. Courtesy of ttmg, under Destination Sign Codes, it's listed as a short turn. Code 2153.
  2. Thank you. It's only a demonstration bus? I guess it means you better get it while you can.
  3. I assume this is the newest bus in the fleet. If I may, what line was this on?
  4. Saw an M31 and M101 short turn for the very first time.
  5. On the other hand, I was out of luck at Co-Op and got on a Bx12 without paying by getting on the back door, so it has its advantages,
  6. Bx19 Riverbank Park via Southern Blvd via 149 St. Thank you in advance.
  7. Does the BxM18 run full time? I hit Google Maps and it only listed times for the late afternoon and early evening.
  8. I take the 7th Avenue lines a lot and had never seen this before, so for me, it was rare.
  9. Saw a running on the 7th Avenue line the other day and to New Lots, no less.
  10. I was wondering if there was a way to track certain drivers' schedules. I rode with a very friendly driver on the BxM3 from Yonkers to Midtown. He even said "I may see you again" and he gave me his badge number. I also saw the driver that took me up to Yonkers the other day downtown. He was on the same line(BxM3). I even e-mailed the MTA with a commendation for him.
  11. They don't have time for all that. Saw a terminating at 57th and 7th early afternoon. I assume there's a reason for that as the sign I saw mentioned weekends and AM rush hours(I think i'm correct on the 2nd part).
  12. I did my 17th walking of a route yesterday(I know. I'm crazy). Did the Bx17 from Fordham Plaza to Port Morris. Got some really good shots cause that's one of the best routes to get close up pictures(for the most part). The streets are pretty open as far as being able to stand without interfering with cars or other parked vehicles or construction. As for the route and ride back itself, it's an interesting route. Really just serves 4 places: Fordham, Crotona and Prospect Avenues and 135th and 138th Streets. When I was on a couple of express buses this week, I could see the next to last stop going to Port Morris from the Bruckner Boulevard. I got 266 coming back. A smooth ride and friendly driver. Only issue is a car that wouldn't turn as we looped back to Fordham Plaza. Issue happened at the entrance back into the Plaza. Driver did a good job pulling up short or we could've had real issues. All in all, one of the best i've experienced.
  13. I heard on another website(which I won't mention) that the M31 and M57 routes should be combined. Granted, this was a few years ago and maybe or maybe not it's been discussed on here, but does anyone have an opinion on this?
  14. Got it, but which is for n/b and s/b? The M2, for example, has 145th-7 Av and 26th. I know 26th is s/b, but how do I determine what's n/b and what's s/b?
  15. So I was correct. Thanks and thanks for the correction. As I asked, is there a place I can all the short-turn listings?
  16. I'm curious what a short turn is. Is it this? M1 to 42nd Street M2 to 26th Street. M3 to Broadway-135th Street. M4 to 145th Street-St. Nicholas Avenue I assume it's this as these are terminals that are not normal terminals. If this is correct, where can I find all the short-turn terminals?
  17. What is the 3 digit number on the bottom left of the bus for?
  18. As i'm typing this, I see(courtesy of BlipRail, a great app) that a couple of are heading to New Lots Avenue. It's not rush hour, so is this a special circumstance or normal?
  19. I'm curious as to how the color codes for buses are determined. For example, the M1 is red and the M2 is purple. How do they determine this?
  20. Got a lot of bus photos to put up and some train ones, as well. Up to the Bx16.

  21. There were R32's on the . I remember riding one.
  22. Only line I haven't ridden is the . Only stations I haven't passed are Broad Channel and the Rockaways north of where the went.
