  1. Probably doing that cause the will be covering the areas the doesn't.
  2. I don't know if anyone keeps track of this(probably not), but I got the same car number(1880) going from Dyckman Street to 34th and then back on the .
  3. Southbound and trains are delayed due to signal problems at Spring Street.
  4. I saw cars 5500 and 5501 being hauled on a flatbed truck with yellow tape and the words ''Overload FULL''. What does this mean?
  5. Due to FDNY activity on 183rd Street, there is no train service between 161st Street-Yankee Stadium and Woodlawn in both directions.
  6. Not from Dyckman, no. Looking at a picture of it, there's much more room to stand back than at 63rd and Lex. Canal Street on the and line is pretty narrow, too.
  7. I noticed it said that the will extend to Brooklyn(maybe). Getting a bit ahead of themselves?
  8. You're correct in that I know this all already and let me add that I loved the 63rd Street station before the renovation. Coolest station for me in the entire line(that's now designated for Far Rockaway-Mott Avenue). I read a while ago that there are secret tracks behind the walls and that's how they're to able to start work on the SAS. It is the narrowest platform to stand on, though. I had a cop position me cause he told me I was too far over. Shame it's gonna be turned into an island platform(which I like), because those 3 stops(63rd and Lex, 21 St-Queensbridge and Roosevelt Island) are unique.
  9. That's what they're doing. Exactly as how I said it. 72nd, 86th and 96th all open during Phase 1. I didn't include 63rd and Lex because it's an existing station undergoing renovation.
  10. It seems as though they're opening it station by station. 72nd, 86th and 96th will open during Phase 1 of the plan. There are already logos on R32 rollsigns in the form of a black letter in a white circle.
  11. Saw a at Dyckman with car numbers in the 1430s. Weren't those old cars and why are they on the line now.
  12. I was told by a worker at Broad Street i'm not allowed to take pictures, but I took it, anyway. I hit up all the stations in the system in a two-week span. Only ones I didn't visit were the ones I couldn't: the Rockaways that were closed, Braod Channel, Smith-9 Streets, Knickerbocker Avenue before it reopened.
  13. 63rd and Lex. No choice on that platform. Not where the incident happened, but with construction, that's the narrowest platform i've ever been on. You don't really know how close this woman was standing to the edge.
  14. I just hope the R32s aren't replaced. I hate the new look of the trains. It's only advantage is that I can set my boundaries as far as how much room I have in regards to other people and whether or not I let them sit next to me. I usually have something I can put down on the seat. Other than that, I much prefer the R32s.
  15. They're redoing the Dyckman Street station on the and there was too much snow on the sidewalk to work.
  16. It's about time the Aqueduct Racetrack station get some service. I know it's only for racing fans and all, but I passed it on my travels to Howard Beach and it looks a fabulous stop, but the skipped it. My only question is how will the terminate normally there when 1. there's only a one-sided platform and 2. for the to turn around it needs to switch tracks, but there's an issue with the Conduit(where it would need to turn around)?
  17. I was fishing for the old Train To The Plane bullet on Google Images and came across an old brown diamond R bullet. Nassau Street and 4th Avenue.
  18. 2 things: this is so cool and I wish I could do this. I'd be busy for hours. GreeneggsnPelham, just for kicks, bring back the old Train To The Plane route with the old bullet.
  19. Due to a train with mechanical problems at Franklin Avenue, and trains are local from Atlantic Avenue to Franklin Avenue. Due to a smoke condition at the 36th Street station, and trains are running local from 36th Street to Atlantic Avenue.
  20. Due to signal problems at Kings Highway, F trains are running with delays. How do you guys make the bullets in posts like that?
  21. As I said somewhere else on this site, I would be more than happy to make signs like the one on IRT Bronx Express' signature. If I could be taught or shown how to do it, that would be great.
  22. Rode 5725 on the Bx4 yesterday. This after I walked from my place from Inwood to Lane and Tremont, then walked the entire route to the Hub. Took 5725 back from the Hub to Westchester Square.
