  1. None of it. It solely a state thing. I agree with BM5 via Woodhaven. Just combine them and Improve the service.
  2. This entire bus line is a complete waste of money. I work across the street from the LOT J at Palisades Center. The buses run very frequent but very empty. The buses don't line up with where people go. Example: The H03 going to Monsey but does not stop at the bottom stop at Palisades Center. It skips those stops, people that work at the mall could take as an alternative to the 59 for Spring. Valley. The shuttle to Suffern is completely useless. The entire 59 corridor got the bus signals but they don't use them yet. The entire thing seems like a waste when the TZx worked and worked well. The money could have went elsewhere to doing the train over the bridge or even the MTA and why did Transdev have to run the bus, why not give it to the MTA, this would have given us something for the money we put into the system. The entire thing needs a massive cut and be streamlined. It is basically useless.
  3. We sure did. The TZx was useful, we still had some mid-day service, absolutely nothing now. I am not even sure if they got rid of the Shortline mid-day OWL buses. This new service does not seem as robust as the TZx and has no where near the service to Tarrytown, its feels like Tarrytown was a forced after thought, all in all a chance to do something great, instead we got something mediocre. Transdev as of 11/1 is also taking over TOR operations too. I hope they don't turn it into NICE. The MCIs that were on the TZx were in horrible condition. They all were retired. Such a sad situation. The whole entire bridge was missed opportunity to do something about the traffic and create connections instead we got the same ole bridge with the same ole Thruway traffic troubles and no real improvement. What a waste!
  4. Still better than those horrible ramps that went in circles. It is an improvement but you are right they could have done a bit better.
  5. So my question is where does the Vessey Street Exit actually come out to and where does that closed off door go to.
  6. The state of NYC Fire Wire Facebook that they are evacuating 1000 people at Lex-53 and over 250 at 34th Street Herald Square. This must be some mess.
  7. I believe 6ave, 63rd Street and 53rd Street. It appears as though everything else is fine.
  8. Service Change Posted: 12/25/2016 11:44PM Due to a loss of power at 7 Av, the following service changes are in effect: Northbound trains terminate at Atlantic Av-Barclays Center. Southbound trains are running on the line from 59 St-Columbus Circle to World Trade Center station. trains are running on the line from Queens Plaza to Whitehall St in both directions and terminate. tains are running on the line between Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Av and Queens Plaza then over the line between Bergen St and Court Square in both directions. There is no service on the line between World Trade Center and Queens Plaza in both directions. There is no service on the line between 21 St-Queensbridge and Jay St-MetroTech in both directions.. As an alternative, use and train service for service between Queens and Manhattan, as well as nearby 6 Av stations in Manhattan. Expect delays in and trains service in both directions. Allow additional travel time.
  9. Why not send the E down broadway to Whitehall? Makes way more sense then that weird service pattern. The D Can not crossover at West 4th I believe, do not quote me. They do not have access to the Bridge, because during fast track, the D Will have to go to 2nd Avenue and run in 2 sections. They do not both line up. In addition the E Down Broadway just makes more sense then from 42nd Port Authority to 168th Street, plus now they have an unauthorized person on the tracks at 163rd Street. It gets the E out of the way. In addition send the F on the G for all trains instead of this just a few. People at 21st Street Queensbridge can walk over to Queens Plaza or take the bus its not that far. Then reroute the A in one direction on the F like they do during major service changes. Send the D up broadway to 57th and 7th as alternative service to help with the crowding. The D Can run express.
