  1. I think the first conversion set is the next to roll out. The 7211-7220 ,with 7899. A dispatcher told that there getting ready to send that set out, however others have told me that there having problems with all the conversion sets.
  2. While on my way back to Astoria tonight, I saw 7811-7821 at queensboro, this is strange considering other people say it is out of service. It could have been Out of service, but I'm not sure.
  3. I was on the same train! I was in 7822! He started skipping through announcements between GC and Vernon Blvd. It was at 3:30.
  4. Here's me on an R188 today it's 7822. Good ride!
  5. Rode an R188 today.. However the announcements weren't working .. The signs were all set to "Last Stop". And there were manual announcements... Other than that everything was good!
  6. Well the 30 day test is almost over! Pretty soon we will we multiple R188s!
  7. Wow, The R188s run well the announcments to mets wilites point go ever are strange
  8. The R188 was having announcment troubles at around 3PM but other than that, everything was smooth and very enjoyable. I took this video at Woodside, strangely it was stuck at Last Stop.

  10. Maybe, When I left for manhattan from Astoria, there where a couple photographers at Queensboro. However they could have been there for something else.
  11. There is no rush for the R188, but I believe that we won't see it -IN SERVICE- until after the CBTC instillation work. That is currently scheduled to end in late November
  12. Sorry for the late response but no it was not in service heading towards flushing , can't remember which set..... Maybe 7211 as the head but I can't be sure.

  15. How about there are problems at the Grand street station this problem also prohibits the M from getting uptown

Have the 4 run local from the Bronx to 125 th street and the 5 train would run between east Chester and 14 th street union via 7 ave and back up via the south ferry loop local in lex ave lower and 7ave exp have limited shuttle bus run between 125 th and 14 th street and to use other manhatthan buses, 6 trains would run between phelam and 125th or 86th then a 4 between 14th and crown heights
  17. Ok now lets say that there is strutual problems on the Williamsburg bridge this will require a 2 year fix how will you reroute these trains, since this is long term you can bring back routes that no longer exist.
  18. Suppose structural problems were found at 66 th and Lincoln center , none of the four tracks can be used from 72nd to 59th st how would you reroute trains?

Ok, 5 runs via the 2 train ,4 will run between 125th and Woodlawn transfer to the 2/5 for the 3 for Brooklyn service and the 6 between 86th and phelam 1 trains are extended after rector st (assuming that sandy has a lready hit) 1 trains run via the loop through bowling green to Brooklyn bridge
  20. 7 trains would terminate at GC or Queensboro and the shuttle would operate overnight a transfer to the M to Bryant park at court sq
  21. I hope to see a set by the summer I would wait for it considering how poor the a/c is on the r62a
