I would suggest that to have turnstiles so people arent paying on the bus because it would take forever for people to board at a big terminal

@Fresh Pond before I started taking the BM3 every day almost all yhe 2's had 5 strip maps so not rlly exclusive

I think this has to do once again with no money why pay a superintendent upwards of 40.00hr for a couple of extra days to train someone when the operator can go ahead and learn it himself Ingenious!

The problem is all thr good b/o's are retiring and they aren't replaced my fave b/o was with command for 8 yrs before spending 9 with mta bus and i don't think there will be one like him in SC unless they do something. I also think communities don't realize that they have part time b/o's that frankly suck (most not all) they think its traffic

Hi guys hear out my rant real quick
I am upset that the MTA is recuriting new MaBstoa drivers to drive for spring creek as PT drivers. It really shows on the quality of the expresses. It shouldn't take 2:15 minutes on a trip that can be done in an hour and 10. Since the traffic conditions were the same I am blaming it on the driver. The fact of the matter is ta is taking fresh drivers passing the basic training and express bus certification and putting them out by themselves. It is outrageous that this is the type of serving provided. I understand no money blah blah blah but this is not the way to break in new drivers. I mean there are people using these routes

Yeah that was me I was propsing extending it both ways; to 5av 57 st and to Trinity Exchange place and have ut utulizing 10 ave. Question where you riding NB or SB on the routeYooo does any1 think the M12 is a productive route? It was empty AF when I rode it, only 1 passenger besides me. some1 mentioned it being extended chambers b4 i think it could of got a little more passengers riding if thats the case. Idk it doesn't seem like its not getting that much ridership

Wally you cant have that and the M to queens blvd at different times. Theoretically if one wanted 6av services there would have to be a V reinstated to replace the M along queens blvd but then agian a shuttle whether V or P would still be easier the altering the patterns of an M just for certain time periods

Not so bad actually I would extend it down fort to 65 st though, that is a good place for an airport route

But nobody needs it there! That is the point of his proposal to make the bus easier to get to by the majority of the people in that neighborhood, ik what ta had in mind when they created the route but they screwed up abd as others have noted the buses were empty. If the ta still has the idea of serving that neighborhood they should move the 12 to 10ave and the few people who will be affected by this can walk to 10th ave

I agree with this proposal, because it actually can actually serve passengers that live on 9-11th, with the 12 going up 12th avenue for most (if not all of the route), it will not get much passengers, people don't need a bus that goes up there, worst case scenario they could walk to 10th from 12th.
