Trash? Before you call New Flyers Trash, take a look at the Novabuses that got issues first

As someone who rides them at least once a day, they are trash. They jerk too much when braking, ride quality is not great, and they’re just not the best built Xcelsiors we have in the fleet tbh.

Eyes on 6854 and 6887. Seems to be the final remaining two Old Gens in service at NYCT (QV). No other units have tracked in service this entire past week.

Also, randomly decided to track 4444 and it's still at KB? Thought all of the NGs already left KB before GH.

KB has them for training purposes as well as service

Why are they not running (7) trains to 33rd or the middle track at Woodside?

33rd would have the trains basically go to Queensboro to turn around

Woodside would have trains skip 69th in both directions, plus reduced headways cause of the single tracking for 1-2 stops

I didn't expect them to keep the covid P/R code on the 75xx's.

I also figured that the sticker situation is rather a joke. Another unit that had this gag is 5869. That unit has a WF sticker as well. I don't know how many buses have the wrong stickers on them, but so far with 6193, that makes it 4 buses I counted that had different stickers, then the depot it is assigned to.

I actually saw it on one of the Yonkers Prevosts last week, so I guess maybe the Hanover buses still have it.

    Greetings!

Well MTA Bus is getting NovaBus LFS, huh? Fleet numbers are #8964-9098. So let's see who's getting them...

    Baisley Park...46
    Eastchester...24
    JFK/Far Rockaway...40
    LaGuardia...25

Delivery is set to begin in November. Of course...this is "Subject To Change".  Enjoy!

Funny how those numbers were RTSs, now they’re LFSs. A real full circle moment lol

I had no idea the Nova vendor center was in Hoboken.

I always thought it was in an isolated area in the industrial part of Jeresy.

Considering that I don't see much fanner footage of the Nova vendor like I do of the New Flyer vendor in JFK Airport, I don't think many people knew this either.

It’s a different facility that the Prevost service facility. The HBLR literally passes it lol. There’s also a public walkway behind it for those of who want to go out there. I just don’t know what the nearest station is.

I still think the (E) should have just ended in Court Square or extended the (R) to Jamaica Blvd. There’s no logical reasoning behind doing all this extra nonsense.

They’re not gonna extend the (R). Why would you make the line longer than it has to be? Also, there’s no (J) in Jamaica that weekend, so there has to be some kind of Manhattan service from Supthin Blvd for the tourists and whatnot

Since we're talking about destination signages at the moment, I'm trying to recall what the SB M10 that used to end at MSG (NE corner of 8th/31st, on 31st, to be specific) signage read... I know it made no mention of MSG, that I can safely say....

If I remember correctly, it just said Midtown Penn Station (the same way the Q32 says). I remember seeing a picture of it recently.

Personally, the M125 should be a Manhattan Division route and or Kingsbridge depot route. Logistical reasons make sense that it should be at MHV base since it’s right in front of the depot and the last stop at 125th.  MCH is crosstown and Kingsbridge via Broadway. If it does go to WF i see reliability issues. From WF to the hub is a good 20-25 mins out maybe more.

Also, the M125 doesn’t need to be artic. Throw some shorties up there and it’s good.

From what I heard, the plan is to have the M125 be based out of WF and use artics. I believe it’s because they will lose the Bx35, so they want to lose any runs or whatever.

Did they solve the seat issue on the new Prevosts?

I think the buses that aren’t fully built yet will have less seats, similar to what Greyhound has on their Prevosts. They will take out a row of seats or something like that.

I hear rumors that the Bx35 could soon be going to Kingsbridge. Is it true or false? Would be nice seeing 1200s on the Bx35, but I'll miss the XN60s if that's the case.

I’ve heard when the redesign starts, the Bx35 is supposed to go to Kingsbridge and the M125 is supposed to be out of West Farms. Don’t quote me on it tho, just what I’ve heard through the grapevine.
