  1. I was saying it would now stop at McLean Ave which is pretty much in walking distance.
  2. I think an extended BxM4 to Cross County-Yonkers should make the following stops: Kimball Ave/McLean Ave (no longer stops at 242nd St) Kimball Ave/Scott Ave Kimball Ave/Sterling Ave Kimball Ave/Yonkers Ave Kimball Ave/Miles Square Rd Cross County Shopping Ctr. I also would bring back the Super Express with these new added stops in Yonkers.
  3. I say extend the BxM4 up to Cross County Shopping Center in Yonkers via Kimball Ave. That would bring in some more riders to the route.
  4. with the SX trips from Woodlawn, LLE also ran a BxM4B that started at the Woodlawn station. But overall LLE did a better job than MTA
  5. Liberty Lines did a much better job at running the YON Routes than MTA did. MTA should bting back all those services that the BxM4 got back then.
  6. the Bx16 should just stay the way it is via 233rd St/Webster Ave. and the BxM4 has never been the favorite of the MTA ever since they took over. Liberty Lines did a much better job with all the routes overall. As for detours, any express bus route should be able to detour if necessary. The best ways to go are via 7th Ave/155th St/Harlem River Drive for the BxM1/2/18. 138th St/Exterior/Sedgwick for the BxM3.
  7. I think we should re-route the Bx1 onto Bailey Ave between Van Cortlandt and 231st St, then also extend the Bx2 to 231st St via Heath Ave. Also think we should re-route the Bx10 to remain on 205th St between Paul Ave and Jerome Ave. it would still connect to every bus in that area, and the .
  8. my idea, for rush hour service, have some Bx9's use Bailey between Kingsbridge Rd and Van Cortlandt Park South. That would save a TON of time. Also I fully support the idea of reviving the old Bx24 from Riverdale to Fordham. Even as a rush hour only service would be fine. Also, how about re-routing the Bx22 to Broadway/238 St. via Goulden, Reservoir, Sedgwick, Ft Independence, 238th St. Sounds like a good plan doesnt it.
  9. they should bring back the Super Express on the BxM1, BxM4, and BxM11. Also cut out the 55th St and 44th St stops on the BxM18. Have it express straight down to 35th St
  10. I forgot to add the M100 to KB. Thats where it should be since its right at the terminal
  11. 31 should definitely go back to Gun Hill, maybe the 8 too. And the 32 should have stayed at Kingsbridge regardless of the NG's or not here are the routes that should be at Kingsbridge IMO Bx1 Bx2 Bx3 Bx7 Bx9 Bx10 Bx13 Bx15 Bx18 Bx20 Bx32 Bx34 Bx41
  12. Does anyone else think the Bx34 should run out of KB. It's closer to Kingsbridge than Gun Hill by far. same with the Bx32. It should run out of KB and not WF
  13. is there a reason why the BxM3 runs into Yonkers instead of terminating at the City Line?
  14. I would bring the old Bx24 back. That was a really good route, although it would need a new number, perhaps Bx14. (pretty ironic since the former Bx14 is now the Bx24)
  15. correct. the regular BxM1 and BxM2 do not stop at Riverdale Ave & 236th St. They stay on HH Parkway. and make all the stops over there
  16. the bee line orion v's are better than the 6000s by far, I agree, and imo they are the best sounding buses in NY. They were the best Orion Vs at Bee-Line even more than the current orion v's still at bee-line
  17. Keep the Orion V's for as long as possible! They are part of a New York tradition
  18. to columbia pres you can take the to 145th then transfer to the
  19. yes I have noticed that myself. technically I am a Yonkers resident but right in the Woodlawn area as I am just over the line on McLean. And I also have noticed BXM4s turning into BXM11s and vice versa
  20. yes I know I live in Woodlawn so I see where people go and what they are taking. Most people the Bx34 or 16 to the . Then a few take it down to Norwood to catch the . Also several Woodlawn residents take the Bx31 to get to the . Several others are also catching the metro-north, going in both directions. as far as the Bee-Line goes. why would I or any other Woodlawn resident need to get to the 1 or 2 on Broadway. We have the 25 and 26 on McLean Ave, or if we needed to we can walk over to Central Ave & McLean to get the 4, 20, or 21.
  21. I agree with you there Q43. nobody needs to get to the , for the most part they are taking the Bx16 or 34 to get to the , or the Bx31 to get to the . A few take the and quite a few take the Metro North. And a couple take the BxM4.
