a man robbed a train late at night at Broadway Junction, and has driven it all over the place on the Nassau St line in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Police shut down the line to investigate, along with the Montague Street Tunnel.
Reroute Away
I was on 174 on the Bx23 last thursday. Had to get one final ride out of the greatest brand of Orion V Mta/BeeLine ever had. I will miss this buses dearly.
Well I got the chance to take a ride on the Bx23 and it was a Bee-Line Orion V! Got to ride 'em one last time before they retire this weekend. So happy I got one final ride on the greatest bus the New York Area ever had. Those buses were my childhood. RIP 1996-2015
I've been to all 5 boroughs before. I once hit all 5 in one day. but the farthest I've been was the Cortlandt Town Center, and Yorktown Heights when I took an adventure on the bee-line 17 and 77. And I have hit Long Island a few times. farthest I've been is Glen Cove on the N21.
How strict is the MTA with the drivers' uniforms? How many MTA logos do they have to put on? I'm just wondering because I once saw a female B/O on the Bx7 (about 35 years old) and she had an MTA logo on her socks. It looked a bit awkward.
Just wondering, because I remember once, out of YON (i think on the BxM1) I got a middle aged blonde fair skinned female B/O who was the fastest driver I have ever seen.
How old would you say that B/O is, and what does she look like?
I have to catch one of them before they retire completely. Those were my all time favorite buses I've ever ridden, since they were at Bee-Line
Yeah, that's what I'd like to know....
I mean I see a lot of videos where the bus fanners are talking with the operators a lot and asking them a lot of questions. I always wondered how they got to know each other.
