Whether or not the is going to extend the routes free by 6 more months, there are plans from NYS lawmakers to have 10 more bus routes free, and to increase frequencies.

Just make the crosstowns free and be done with it.

How? The C runs completely below ground.
The NYPD needs to harshly penalize these teens (and their parents) who are involved in vandalism and/or subway surfing.

These irresponsible parents should be held accountable for failing to supervise their teens.
Of course nothing will happen.... Why? Because the criminals vote.

On 4080-4084+4120-4124 now and I gotta say the train definitely feels really spacious and the acceleration is nice. The intercom system is trash though , cant hear being said and the FIND keeps going out every couple of stops, I bet that gets annoying to deal with
That's a Kawasaki problem recently, the 160s are the same way. Train crew could crank up the volume, but the audio is worse for it (I've experienced this personally). They need better suppliers. Probably same with the FINDs, everything's built on the cheap nowadays it seems. Just the world we live in.....

Vancouver's CMBC (Coast Mountain Bus Company) recently trialed a Solaris Trollino 12 for its trolleybus system.
Solaris is a Polish company, and is a big player in Europe. I'm personally excited to see them in the USA; I saw the 12, 15, and 18 meter diesels in Warsaw and Krakow.

Where did you hear this?

Great, now these trains will be delayed for another 5 months for wrap repairs 🤦♂️ what’s with people tagging trains, can’t they have anything better to do, there should be an FBI investigation and arrest the person for damage of private property and trespassing
I assure you, the FBI doesn't give a toss about public transport matters. They're too busy watching our phones, tablets and computers.

A chance encounter. Saw the R211 at 125th this afternoon, but it was going uptowm, I was going down. Nice to finally see it with my own eyes, though not very well b/c all those wires at 125th....
Another time, assuming I'm still alive I'll check you out later

Why did this swap happen? Was it for mileage reasons?
On 5/10/2023 at 10:40 PM, RSMG106 said:It is possible. Also Tuskegee still has MCH's 2019 XD60s, and are still using it for mileage purposes as well.
I wonder if this done to train Tuskegee on the new-batch buses....

Anyone else start to see people with a box full of candy (and usually with their little kids) walking around trains quite often nowadays? I'm starting to see them on almost every train I board, and sometimes on the .
Hmmm funny.... I have seen this once or twice now.
A few Saturdays ago at City Hall as I was changing from the to the . Found it interesting but didn't think much more of it....

I'm curious if the superliner replacements will be bi level. I'd rather the whole LD fleet have a uniform single level fleet rather than now with the east coast/LSL having an separate fleet from the midwest & west coast LD trains.
I'm of the opinion those superliners are too big for their own good.

Doesn't like MU's? Thats a weird stance....
America is just sooo goddamn boring.
