  1. A power outage hits the subway system, shutting down service in random places around the system. The area around Queens Plaza, Downtown Brooklyn, ENY, and Lower Manhattan is out. In addition, a weeks worth of rain ate away Manhattan and Williamsburg Bridge, making it unstable. Affected: Queens Plaza and Court Square E F M R N Q R G 7 Jay St-Metrotech, Hoyt St, Atlantic Av-Barclays Center 2 3 4 5 A C F G B D N Q R ENY A C J L Z 14th St and South A C E 1 2 3 L N Q R 4 5 6 B D F M J Z Bridges J M Z B D N Q Is this too hard? You can do one part if it is. Sorry, it is crazier on paper than when I was thinking about it. I'll give you +1 if you can actually do it all.
  2. QBL is so screwed up today. You know what? Screw it.
  3. Plan A: is now an express, is local. Express and local stops stay the same. Variants: Rush Hours only. ends at Crescent St. ends at 121st St. Plan B: service runs local north of Broadway Junction. Runs nonstop to Delancey St. service replaces the non-stop section. Variants: Rush Hours only. This pattern is extended to Crescent St. stops at Myrtle Av. P.S. The center tracks at Marcy Avenue are connected to mainline.
  4. Plan A: (O) runs local to Broadway Junction while runs express. Express stops are: Bedford Av Lorimer St Graham Av DeKalb Av Myrtle Av-Wyckoff Av Broadway Junction Variants: (O) runs only to Myrtle Av-Wyckoff Av Graham Av and DeKalb Av are not express stations Rush Hours only Plan B: (O) runs to Myrtle Av-Wyckoff Av. nonstop to Manhattan. Variants: Rush Hour only. stops at Bedford Av, Lorimer St, and Myrtle Av-Wyckoff Av. Nonstop service starts at Broadway Junction.
  5. There ain't enough info to do it. I'm doing it, assuming that all 4 tracks have a train stalled. suspended. No service between 34th St and CI. via 8th Av Exp. via 8th Av local. terminate at Delancey St. suspended. between Astoria and CI via Broadway Local. s/b service terminate at Jay St.
  6. Some trains terminate at 14th St or Bedford, s/b trains terminate at Myrtle Av or Halsey St. No trains between Myrtle and Crescent. No trains between Utica Av and Euclid Av. Runs via local. Lefferts bound service suspended for the sake of (or not). suspended. suspended.
  7. The entire B'way Junction is out...
  8. Closing doors has already been done. announcements will be done by the same people that voice the . The will most likely be the same voice as the and , but it won't be done until the is planned to come.
  9. @Javier Just no. You already got the M34 SBS, which is enough, plus, you can use nearby stops on the 8th Av line, 7th Av line, 6th Av line, Lex, Broadway, and soon, SAS. Do you do not notice why exactly is the 42nd St Shuttle a shuttle in the first place and is accepted? Grand Central is a major train station, and Times Square is a major train stop and some other major things. A shuttle allows trains to connect with each other faster so passengers won't suffer. Your 34th St Shuttle is nearly useless. Do you notice how far apart your stop are? You will basically have each platform literally 12 ft away! A single platform is about between two avenue's length. Half of that? Still, half an avenue's lengh. This proposal is not really someone would utilize. Relax, just calm down. Please.
  10. Yup. That on QBL is so time consuming. The express saves 10 minutes! And I'm one of those people who think that even 2 skipped stops on an express is important.
  11. Being on the Nassau line has nothing to do with it. trains still serve part of the Jamaica line and the Myrtle line. Both can only fit 8 cars in the stations.
  12. Lex always has problems. Funny story yesterday, I took the HCHS test, and I took the at Lex-63rd St. Man, is that station deep! Anyway, my friend decided to "summon" a train to arrive, and it did, but as an R46, and I was like, you just had to summon an R46? And he was like, sorry, I don't have powers to summon NTT's. LOL!
  13. Wow... a duplicate of the . SO F***ING USELESS!
  14. I'm gonna regret this... : via 6th Avenue. : via 53rd St. : N/B trains terminate at 57th St-6th Av. : Extended to Forest Hills. : S/B trains terminate at Wall St. 20 min shuttle between President St and Flatbush. : 20 min shuttle between New Lots and Utica. : Uptown trains local between Union Square and 125th St. Terminates at Borough Hall. : Service to Grand Central. : Suspended. : 20 min shuttle between Prospect and CI. : via B'way Exp. : Between Astoria and Whitehall St via B'way Local. : S/B trains terminate at Bay 50th St. : S/B trains terminate at 86th St.
  15. Dancing chicken? Lol! As long as this chicken can become my pet, the can have my plan. : Between Far Rock or Ozone and Utica Avenue via local. Every 20 minutes, one train running to Clinton and coming back express. : Extended to 207th St. : Suspended. : No service between York St and CI. : Extended to CI. : Runs on 8th Av Local with the .
  16. Wait, time out. It's suspension... means that subway customers will not have to transfer to shuttle bus... What exactly is this Plan 2?
  17. Am I right? During weekdays, there are many sudden reroutes, right? So far, I've seen via 63rd, at Grand St, and you found via bridge and via West End. *Sigh*
  18. Definately. Because of those moveable platforms, trains stall at the station for up to 2 minutes.
  19. A delayed train stalled north of Jay St on the switches. A NIS train was a minute away, going on the wrong track, and stalling and getting stuck between the switches. Express and Crosstown tracks are blocked. All northbound service has come to a hault. Reroute trains. *Bonus* It is rush hour 2050, and service runs to Coney Island via Culver Exp and Montague (stopping on Jay St Platform). and trains run local to Church Avenue. The train was stalled on the x switch and the bellmouth.
  20. All tubes are being used. If it was loop, , can run local while the express to Grand Central, or extend to Bowling Green.
  21. What does puzzle me is why cab seats were removed. I swear I saw them on the R142A a few months ago. Or was I dreaming? No, I saw it with my own eyes!
  22. I found this while searching on google: Country: United States City: New York System: New York City Transit Route: N Car: R-160B (Kawasaki, 2005-2008) 8713 Photo by: Brian Weinberg Date: 8/17/2006 Notes: First revenue run of the R-160 fleet as part of the 30-day test. When did they remove the cab seats?
  23. They have been around for forever. Well, maybe I'm exaggerating, but, I swear they have been around even when my brain was barely developed.
