  1. Couple things here: -Why send the to Jamaica? You can just simply send it to Forest Hills. -Northbound should not be affected, so you can keep service the way it is. - could run local west of Jackson Heights, doesn't have to start local at Forest Hills. -Switches in the would be a pain in the ass. - should run express.
  2. Yay! Maybe I can do a bit of railfanning since I will be on 6th Av on the weekend. Plus, the will be terminating at 34th St so I can do a bit more railfanning, lol!
  3. There has always been one or two R68As on the . Don't know about the though. The did this for more than a year, or about a year, I think...
  4. How would there be that many derailments? If a signal fail would happen, crews would be notified and trains traveling at about 10 mph and with caution. I'm only doing the last one. And for fun, I'll add SAS. via 53rd St. extended to Forest Hills. rerouted to Chambers St. to 57th St-7th Av. Next: A building in Bayside and Fort Totten burnt to crisp and the fire is spreading. The fire is then put out safely. However, the area there is very unstable. Reroute subway service! P.S. To be taken as a joke! Haha!
  5. I think this one has the Franklin Av one. Do you have the video for the Rockaway ?
  6. Seem weird how one person can have that many variants in tone.
  7. Nearby lines can handle the area alone without service or shuttle buses. Single tracking there will just carry air and is useless. So you're saying that trains can actually go and turn around at 6 TPH? 6 TPH is actually a lot for share of tracks. Not necessary at all.
  8. There is no switch to resume normal route coming downtown via 8th Av. They have to go via or terminate.
  9. Imagine if they actually did what it says right here. Don't get it? Well, keep trying. Don't scroll down until you really give up. To read it, highlight it with your cursor. ( J ) skip stop continues without the ( Z )! LOL! : P
  10. to 145th St. to Fordham Rd. to Burnside Av. Was it so hard?
  11. Just why won't there be a talk of rebuilding them? They are very useful tunnels and people will protest all over Brooklyn.
  12. Next: That Court Sq building collapsed. Everything south of 36th Av and west of 36th St in Queens is affected. Affected: In addition, a fire near Barclays Center closed service down in that area. Borders are Jay/Smith St, Myrtle Av, Vanderblilt Av, and Bergen St. Affected: Look at a bus map if you need to.
  13. That T/O I believe was knocked out or something, you'll have to research more on your own.
  14. Service Change Posted: 01/28/2015 6:18PM Due to a police investigation of a customer injury at Nostrand Av, the following service changes are in effect: trains are running local from Hoyt-Schermerhorn St to Utica Av in both directions. trains are running with delays in both directions. Allow additional travel time.
  15. suspended. suspended b/t 2nd Av and 36th St. Brooklyn shuttle running 4 TPH, Manhattan & Bronx 12-15 TPH. Concourse Local. suspended b/t Jay St and 36th St. Brooklyn shuttle running 4 TPH, Manhattan & Queens 12-15 TPH. 17. What? You sat there waiting 2 hours for the AGAIN? Lol.
  18. Well, maybe it's just me that I've never seen everything service changed.
  19. Look at that. Service Change Posted: 01/27/2015 10:56AM NYC Transit began gradual restoration of service at 9AM. Subway service will operate on a Sunday schedule. Bus service is being restored to a limited Sunday schedule. Subway Sunday Schedule Reminder: No 5 service in Brooklyn. No 6 express service. No 7 express service. No B trains - use the A C D and/or Q instead. M service runs between Metropolitan Av and Delancey-Essex Sts only. Q service runs between Stillwell Av and 57 St-7 Av only. No Z service - use the J instead, which runs between Jamaica Center and Chambers St. Expect longer travel times. Use TripPlanner+ to plan your journey. Thank you for your patience.
