Capital day construction is long hours doing panels which are section of tracks that are done or the weekend some even or even being done during the week now the hours are long and you will be traveling to different boroughs during the weekdays and weekends some of the work can be heavy but they make alot of money due to travel time most times during the week you just back logging thats basically finishing up certain things that wasn’t finished from the last panels put in where ever you guys worked at to put them in hope that helps you with a little insight -

Yea we got transit check but i believe its something you set up that comes out ya check depending how you set it up but we get no allowance for parking -

Unfortunately the way this way this place work is based off of seniority so depending on where you fall at in terms of your class depends on where you go on the mini pick -

I been in track for 5 years. The level 2 i know get the info before you guys even get in to school of a certain amount of workers per mile in track thats needed by federal law. He was told nov 2022 would be the last month of hiring. I was never told what exact date or if that was going to be it for the list. Just giving you the inside scoop good luck to all. -

Congrats to all just got called in to get hired fyi November is the last month for all to be hired for track. For everyone thats coming in most X spots will either be utica nights, capital days or capital nights. Anything capital is built in overtime in large work load anything maintenance is not so much overtime and not as heavy work load capital is system wide which means you could be working anywhere in the boroughs except staten island hope that helps a little and give you guys an idea on whats in the upcoming process for you guys. Anything capital is built in overtime weather its winter or summer so if you are coming for the money those two are the routes to take in track -

In order to get a day off in track you fill out a day off sheet that you suppose to have in the quarters its basically a 48 hour in advance thing for the day you need off which almost likely to get approved -

im not sure about the time transferring over but it probably will because your bsc and pass number wont change, and im most for certain your pay will be at trackworker rate -

There is no freeze ladies and gentlemen there is currently a class in as we speak the word around the offices is that the hiring is on going until November not sure early November or late so keep ya info up to date and keep a lookout for those emails -

Yea those positions are a little different to get in with the mta I believe those are interviewed/referenced kind of deals to get in to -

I mean you never know you may be alright if it was a little while ago the 1 and 3 rule is never going to away in the company at least you didnt lie about the situation, hopefully they hiring manager either retired or promoted thab it wont matter they will hire at this point for trackworkers they need the man power its been alot of promotions and alot of retirements coming up
