So many people seem so afraid of the drug test you go and pee in a cup it's no big deal. Unless you do drugs then it is a problem for you and you probably shouldn't be taking this job it is dangerous and at times life threatening if you are not cautious of what you are doing. Remember you are applying for a job where you should be healthy and not a drug addict or even user it's common sense so please if you are don't waste everyone else's time and find a job that doesn't drug test personally I would pee in a cup every day all day and I have no worries because I am straight edge a good way to live life I general. Congrats to all of you who have already started the process and are training hope to see you guys someday soon very excited and hopeful to get the positions good luck to everyone and keep your head up patience is all you need

For anyone still following this forum who are already in class how are things going and where is the class held. Any body receive a letter to go for a medical recently or has that come to a complete halt. Keep this blog alive any kinda feedback is good feedback

I'm not being negative I'm being realistic, do the math. Took test in March 2013, a scantron it took six months to post an answer key then six months to get our results back then six months to make a list up then four months to make one class. That's almost a two year process and according to a post earlier on about 35 people in the class from track worker but 157 have been called and the aren't even up to the 300's yet and we don't know how many if any people didn't make it which could mean several more classes could be made before anyone else gets a letter. So I'm not being negative or positive I am a realist. I hope things move faster but I don't see it happening soon is all.

157 people off the list nothing is going to happen until the class is over and they need to hire more people. My guess is people aren't gonna start getting letters again until late spring early summer. Unless a lot of people retire or fail the class the rest of us are gonna have a long wait. Good look to everyone.

So there is a class being held starting February 2nd. Once that class starts do they start recruiting for the next class or how does this work, does anyone know?

List number low 300's haven't heard anything or gotten a letter o go in for an interview. Will keep all posted when my number is called. If anyone is worried about blood pressure try cutting your salt significantly out from your diet and get some exercise, a good diet and exercise will help 90% o all health problems. This is the most simple and easy advice I can give but two of the hardest to follow. Some people are worried about a fitness test if you are worried then start getting in shape then you will have nothing to fear. They look for this stuff so you don't get on the job and collapse or have a heart attack, it will be very demanding and if you don't like physical activity this is not the job for you.
