Does anybody know what it takes to be a nice bus driver? I would want to drive it sounds like a lot of Fun to drive a bus.

Is nice bus training the same as mta? With mta I heard it is 7 day training in manhattan. Does nice bus train there drivers In manhattan too?

Famous, I remember I used to see N20 bus that end at Great neck Lirr, did nice get rid of those short trips & extend them out to Roslyn?

Hi famous good think you brought it up about q20 sometimes we have people who didn't take nyc mta bus for 5 years or more board the n20 & think it is q20 bus, maybe new signs at needed. Famous another problem we have at Roosevelt ave after 11pm the N20/n21 stop running & this stop On Roosevelt ave becomes universal over night bus stop for q28,q13 & q16 buses, it's more like word of mouth but no sign there to let riders know maybe famous you request a overnight bus sign for q28, q13 & q16 buses. People wait for n20 after 11pm & board local q28 or q12 or q16 buses and are upset thank you

This morning we had a very friendly bus driver on the N20, he's only on the bus a few days, there was a senior citizen to wanted to get off on bell blvd & northern blvd both myself & bus driver explained to her next time take The q12 or q13 bus, she said she mistook the N20 for the q12, maybe nice bus should have better signage for the seniors so they can tell The difference. This lady said to the driver thank you for Opening the door & asked for a transfer for her return Trip back to flushing, the driver gave her a transfer with a smile.

Yes great neck station has large crowds, & traffic on northern blvd from bell blvd down to flushing is stop & go & it's heavy & nice only gives it's drivers 12 minutes from the city line to flushing which is unreal a driver has to do 40mph + with no traffic just to get to flushing. On a side note maybe the city should install a "bus only lane " on northern blvd from flushing Main Street into great neck station

I have no idea how to complain to nice bus, They don't even have a complaint hotine, MTA has a 511 number. Many days, during rush hour N20 & N21 come in packages of bulk., I mean 4 buses at a time, this is unacceptable. I know the buses are late due to the Northern blvd traffic, but if a bus dispatcher was there he could send the 1st bus out, have the 2nd bus wait 15 minutes, have the 3rd bus wait 30 minutes, etc. This is why bus dispatchers should be on every nice bus route, Famous have you been to Hicksville? sometimes I take N79 to south Huntington this n79 bus is always 15 minutes + late, with 20 or more people waiting, including seniors. Why would the N79 be late? its a bus that goes out east no where in queens. no traffic at all

Famous, can you try to get a full time bus dispatcher at Roosevelt av & Main Street for the N20? Please the N20 is a very busy line, it should have a full time dispatcher.

Does nice have dispatchers at each end of the lines? I know in queens mta has a few dispatchers in flushing to regulate service & make sure buses are on time, maybe to fix the N4 problem nice should put a dispatcher in Jamaica center. Sometimes drivers can not make schedule time Due to road conditions, & traffic on archer ave & Jamaica center is very heavy & dollar vans make illegal U turns & double park. I suggest a bus lane be installed on Archer ave.

n4 needs 8-10 minute headways, Nice needs to schedule more buses, & post the reason why the 6pm bus did not show up, This is unacceptable. For some reason I think nice thinks that there is "no body out on the weekends" MEanwhile the weekends the lines are super packed, why would nice send out empty N36 buses, while N4 are super packed & need help? A dispatcher should take a bus or two off the N36 and put it on the N4.

Oh I live in queens, & it's funny bc a senior asked me who the name ed is & a few of us on the line said "maybe he is the owner of veolia transportIon

Correct me if I'm wrong, doesn't veolia own the buses? It says owned by veolia & I also see a name of Edward manndanno on every bus

Who is paying for these new buses? Last thing we need is a fare increase, I think veolia should pay for the buses, because they make a lot of profits off the $2.75 fare.

Does anybody know when nice is going to get new buses? The old buses nice has now is like rideing on a roller coaster ride, mta is buying new buses left & right. Since veolia is a private company, why can't veolia reach into his/her own pockets & buy the buses? It is veolias company after all. Let's say somebody owns a company they would buy new equipment these old buses nice has should have been replaced 5 years ago

I will be in great neck tomorrow, maybe I will take bus ride on N57, one question : if I take it around 4pm, can I take the same bus back to great neck? I don't want to be lost because you said N57 does different bus route, Last week I took N20 to Hicksville LIRR station & asked driver if I can sit in bus & go back to flushing he said sure, the poor guy didn't even get up at Hicksville to stretch his leg, he continued right back to flushing, now that driver is a company man! I been looking I haven't seen this driver anymore, recently its been different drivers everyday, until a few months ago I used to see the same driver everyday same time. what's going on?

Maybe veolia can get permit from nyc to Put schedule on the bus pole. Seniors would like to know what time Bus comes. Many seniors don't have internet smart phones they still do things the old fashioned way thanks

If I knew of a place where I can get bus schedules I would stand in flushing at N20 stop & hand out bus schedules all day. I like to help. I see a lot of seniors around 2-330pm. Many do not speak English & would love to see a "paper schedule" for the 1st time. Famous if you go & ask these seniors what time the bus comes, many do not have a idea at all , they just go to bus stop & wait & wait & wait ( there words) also many people & seniors look at bus stop pole expecting a bus schedule time to be on it like the mta has, I suggest nice to put time schedules on every bus stop then we wouldn't need paper schedules, it's a win win

On N20 first stop in queens on Roosevelt ave, I have spoken to a few senior citizens who are regular riders according to them, they are taking the N20 for "years" & they still have no time what time the buses come, they just stand & wait at the stop until the bus comes, sometimes they wait 30-45 minutes, the seniors would like paper schedules printed in many different laungaues, many seniors bus riders do not speak or read English, also yesterday one lady senior with walker requested to go on wheelchair lift in the back & the driver tried to use it but told lady "lift doesn't work wait for another bus" according to lady she had to wait another 45 minutes for new orange bus to use front ramp. She was unhappy camper

I been on many mta buses in queens where there is new updated bus schedules all over the floor and on the seats if mta prints a lot of then what is stoping nice and Suffolk? Nice should have paper schedules on the buses because many people that ride the buses don't have internet friendly cell phones & nice should have sign saying cash fare is $2.50

I don't think nicebus.com gets updated, I believe it is $2.75 cash fare as we'll, every bus driver has told me It's is $2.75 in coins as we'll as the metro card, nice really needs to try to reach out to it's customers on social media, most people On the bus have a smart phone, & can go to there website for details Just like there websites bus schedules which says January 2014 that's how long bus schedules have been updated we need nice bus time just like mta has I am tired of waiting & waiting for a bus only to find out I missed the connection bc the driver felt like coming early

Also why is cash fare $ 2.50? I been paying $ 2.75 in coins & asked many drivers how much in coins I get $2.75 reply,...Famous are u correct? I kmow its only a 25 cents but it adds up thanks.
