@runningonrails, doing good thanks. Didnt think it would take this long to get the letter. Thougt it was moving rather quick now towards the end of the list, i can only assume that no more letters are going out till next year. Hope you're doing well as well! @tprashad, GL monday, break a leg and keep us posted as im sure you will! A new life starts for you and your family for the better!

@runningonrails, wow only 10 people went into the class. Thats a small class. Havent seen anyone post of new letters going out. Do you know if the classes for the rest of this year are filled up?

@tprashad, keep positive thinking, its a new career, fresh start. Always think of rewards when you are done with school. I revert to one thing all the time and that is. I took the test from the get go for a reason because either i wasnt happy where i was or it was time to move on to other things and better longevity. Otherwise non of us would take a test for a new job/career if we didnt need the change! Best of luck, there is bunch of us who will do it as well. Hopefully down the line we can all look back and have no regrets!

Do conductors and T/O's work like regularly together as crew or you work with different staff everyday?

Seems like the letters going out have slowed down, has anyone gotten letters past couple weeks? Wondering if they will send out any more letters for this calendar year !

@emcheng, Good luck with the baby! i'm sure the guys on here can give you better info. but i believe you can also differ your start date but not sure how the process works exactly. i'm sure you will get muc more feed back shorly. whats you appx list num?

Thanks guys, i appreciate you guys taking the time out of your busy schedules to give us updates and pointers as we hope to join you guys one day as well. It goes a long way and i hope TO's/Instructors help us as well same way!

Any tips on studying.... Are you given material to study or you basically just have to study rules regulation book given?

Got it, thanks for the info. Classroom is important i guess i like hands on a bit more as i think its more constructive.

Is there more classroom or hands on training? How long is classroom setting before hands in training comes?

so just that i understand initial process. you go down for drug test and leave wait for a call back for the medical and the day of medical they interview and everything and that day after all is good you get sworn in? what kind of questions are thrown at you in the interview?

@runningonrails, thanks man hope so too. I applied for next conductor exam just in case as well. Im just wondering sonce they called a lot of ppl in lately will that be that last round of letters flr this year. But guess we will have to wait and see.

High level management for an EMS agency currently. Yes going to TO would be a pay cut but i see much more longevity in the long run for me and my family. Can't just look at status quot, need to think long run.

i hear you. i been in the same industry for 14 years and know the feeling. im in healthcare all that time but healthcare industry as we all know is just taking course on the wrong side. That's why i am eager to change course.

@Erik, hopefully some new letters will go out before the New Year. obviously some people went for drug tests and still waiting for their medicals. so maybe they called in the numbers that they needed for remainder of the year? Erik do you know how many people per class about?
