If you were fired from a city job, will that disqualify you from gettting hired as TO?

Does anyone know how the benefits are for TO? Medical, vision & dental? Also what’s the retirement plan, years of service or age?

Hey everyone. First time posting on this forum but have posted on other ones before. Received an email to attend open house for a test at the Hillside facility for Wednesday May23. However, with my current job I’m off Sunday & Monday. Would it be possible to email them back and see if they have a test date available on any Monday? I know my current job won’t give me that day off, so I’ll have to use a sick day

Did the OPA earlier today.. I would say it was fairly easy.. good luck to everyone

Just a random thought. I found the TO exam to be slightly difficult than other exams. I didn't have enough time to record my answers.

Last time I was there, they mentioned failure of the drug test prohibits you from applying to an MTA job for 2 years.  Correct me if I am wrong.  Inability to produce an adequate amount of urine (for my experience it was 3oz - 4oz) or leaving before getting discharge papers results in a failure.

How do you know if you failed a drug test? Do you get a letter in the mail stating such thing?

I'm thinking it means Oral Proficiency Assessment. I remember it being posted on the NOE.

Physcoles and mart do you remember your preliminary scores?

Hey an update, I received a letter in the mail today to take a OPA ON OCTOBER 12, is this good?

I received the same letter also. Mines is for October 11

I hit "0" when I call 212-669-1357.

In regards to calling DCAS, is it possible to speak with a representative?

I called & there's no option that lets you speak with a representative.

I just tried & was not successful. Since they're open six days a week, I would try again later today, that's when they usually update it anyway.

Do you get notified by letter in the mail of your drug test result?

I was told I should be expecting something in the mail soon, however, she wasn't able to tell me what the letter will say.

This doesn't sound good.. And NO, I don't do any drugs

It said not qualified to me 2 weeks ago but after my situation got resolved, it went back to normal

There were a lot of people but also from different exams, including conductor.

I didn't ask when the next class starts. They just told me that I will get notified of the drug test by email anywhere from 3 days to 3 months

Did the drug test today. Showed up at 730am & was done by 1145am

Hey they told u to go for medical or for drug test this week ... ? Bc before u do the medical u have to do the drug test or u did the drug test within the last 30 days... ?

Was able to speak with someone right now and they said my name has been manually restored to the list and to come any day this week for the medical

Finally got letter fo report feb 21 730 am list #207x

Hats good news. I tried calling Ms chestnut, however, she's on vacation until next week. Does anyone have another number I can call to try and speak with someone so I can get my situation resolved?

Just called the DCAS automated line & it said I'm Not qualified for certification for this list & I should be receiving a letter in the mail
