I did call dcas & they said transit shows me as ineligible. However, my situation has been resolved. I will call transit on Monday to see what's going on.
If 45,000 took the exam, then it's gonna be like sanitation. You're going to need 100 & above to have a chance.
Guess I can look elsewhere, since I got 2 questions wrong.
So DCAS told me that transit took me off the list & in order for them to reinstate my name back on the list, they have to get notified by transit to do so.. I can see this is going to be a back and forth battle.
Come to find out my name was taken of the list. So I had to email DCAS today so they can restore my name back to the list. Now I have to wait for DCAS to send me any confirmation in regards. This sucks...
I was told to call because I went for medical back in November & due to a minor issue with my license I couldn't continue the process. But next week that issue with my license will be resolved
I was called back in November but have to wait until the end of January because of an insurance lapse I had 3 yrs ago (it clears my abstract in the end of January) my list # is in the 1700s
We all have our own unique situations. I already have my CDL. I wish they have a class ASAP so I can go in already lol.
I'm miserable at my current job right now. Oh well, patience is a virtue...
I should be going in the class for bus operator in the next few months(knock on wood).
Any ideas how easy it is to get a Saturday off so I can take the train operator exam?
Dude you should of got your license when you were first eligible.
Got my permit when I was 16 yrs old & license at 17. This was 15yrs ago.
At that age, first thing you do is get your license lol...
On the NOE "one year full time work experience that has been continuous with one employer"
Does that mean if I was working with Company A full time for 6 years and quit in June 2016 to work for Company B full time, it won't make me eligible?
Is there any advantages of having a class A license once employed by MTA?
Asking because my job is offering free CDL classes for class A & B. So I'm considering taking this offer since it's free.
I already have my class B with all needed endorsements
