  1. Quick question. I already have my CDL, class B with A3 exemption. I recently got a tentative job offer with a private company & they paid to do the DOT physical (quick note, I don't need a CDL for this company, just a regular license) Should I go to DMV to amend my license or leave it with A3 exemption?
  2. They can always space it out for a few weekends like they are doing with the conductors exam. At $60 plus dollars multiplied by tens of thousands that will take the exam, the mta can make a quick buck..
  3. Wasn't the filing for train operators supposed to begin in June? Just checked the mta website & it got cancelled.. Sucks...
  4. Saw this question asked on another forum. Maybe someone here might have some information in regards. If you get fired from a NYC job, will that disqualify you from getting on with MTA?
  5. Took the exam yesterday. Gotta say, it's all reading comprehension. Take your time & read everything carefully. They gave the late comers a 30 min grace period.
  6. @YoungNYCSubwayfan thanks a lot.. That was the packet I was looking for
  7. Did someone here post before the forms which they give at medical which requires you to list work history etc? If so, can someone repost it.. Was trying to find it with no luck... Thanks
  8. Some people had to do it, I didn't have to parallel park it because there was too much traffic in the area designated to parallel park the bus.
  9. You can try & plead your case by calling DMV and speaking with Driver Improvement Unit, 518-474-0774.. If successful they should be able to get it removed.. If not, then it will still show on your abstract.
  10. I understand where you're coming from... We will all know when the next batch of letter get sent out when everyone else on this forum starts posting it.. Good luck to everyone
  11. I have to agree with @YoungNYCsubwayfan.. Like I said before, patience is a virtue. We will all get called eventually. Just hang in there Btw @young is very knowledgeable in the hiring process & gives us good inside information, no need to get emotional because of what he said
  12. Thanks for the response.. Hopefully my job will give me the day off
  13. Does anyone know if I can postpone my test date for an earlier date? I'm scheduled for April 30.
  14. I did mines in Maspeth. Here are some tips I can give you, Make sure you call every hazard, from every overpass, vehicles double parked, cars cutting you off etc. When getting off the highway make sure you slow down. Don't just look straight, keep observing you surroundings & mirrors Your driving school probably told you this, but before reversing the bus to park, turn bus off, take keys with you & let the inspector know that you're going to do a physical check of the rear of the bus. I was told if you don't do that that's an automatic failure.
  15. I don't use this forum on mobile version, I use the desktop version.

  17. Passed my CDL B road test last month.. You can PM if you want
  18. Why are so many people very impatient about when they will be called? Just know that you will get called eventually & while you wait get everything ready like documents, CDL etc.. Not trying to sound negative, just being realistic... Remember people, Patience is a Virtue...
  19. Thanks for the response Young.. It does show on my abstract, happened 3 yrs ago. And I do have the court disposition showing it got dismissed
  20. Any idea if MTA will hire me if I have a DWI arrest but not convicted of it? The DWI got dismissed by the ADA
