I got an email from 180 livingston. She said to expect an email from employment center, and to give them my drivers license and fill out some paper work. I have not recieved it yet. But I think its the same one you guys are dealing with.

Jason im in the same boat as you. I was supposed to be in the march 30th class until it was postponed. Im in the 1400s. I emailed and called numbers that don't even answer. They don't answer emails anymore. Exams unit, cerfticationunit, none of them reaponded yet. But when I find out any information ill let you guys know. The only phone that answers is zerega.

Mine expired as well. And someone from 9100 exam had his cdl permit expire and had to renew it to be considered. Don't wait just make an appointment with dmv, and renew your permit asap. I renewed mine.

Thats crazy young. I really hope will hear back from them soon. I don't know why they just like forgot us man. I am on the mabsta 7300 list. I never even got word from them, and I put myself back on the list for mabstoa 73000 back in september last year. I never heard from them ever again. 1 month lady I got called in for TA 7612. All my original paper work and medical was for 7300. Crazy what we have to deal with man. We take time off of work, parking the car, and wait and wait. I wish everyone the best.

Bus operator exam is very very easy, the questions tell you what the answers are alot of times. The boss survey is also easy, you just have to be consistant with your answers.

No, when you have high blood pressure, they immediatley check your neck size, and if your necksize is about 17 1/2 inches then it automatically means you need to get checked for sleep apea. This is just a one time check. After you are cleared for medical, the doctor at the MTA will tell you when you need to report back to 180 livingston. Its about 4 to 5 months. And what that means is they want to see your continued treatment for sleep apnea. So after you are hired, medical expects you to report back to 180 livingston with your sleep apea report, every 4 or 5 months. Thats it. That machine believe it or not will help you sleep better. I sleep every day with it. I sleep better than someone who doesn'thave sleep apea. Best thing ever happen to me. My dark eye circles are gone. I have fuller energy. This is the same way for busses and subway. I am going for bus operator, even though im in on the 7604 list.

Theres no date on that, but you should do it as soon as you can. Go to your to doctor, make the arranments for everything the mta medical ask. Show your doctor everything you need, especially the note saying that you are fit to work for the MTA. And then get your sleep apnea study done as soon as you can. If you do need a sleep apnea machine, the mta is going to need 1 month of sleep apea on your own. Once you complete that, you print out the sleep apnea report. Should be 4 hrs a day for 30 days (your sleep apea treatment) And then you get back to medical with all the info. If you missed your class, you must reinstate yourself back ont he list.

I went through this. If your neck size and weight is a certain amount, you will be put on hold especially if you have high blood pressure. And then...you will need to go through the medical adventure.

If the mta gets 12 billion dollars from the government there won't be layoffs. At least not bus operators or subways. They're are trying to get Washingtons attention and ny state to get them the funds. Its a scare tactic. Now we just have to wait and see if they get 12 billion.

I reinstated myself just in case. Im still on the certification list and active list. The date on the certification is the same as before pre-covid. Check to see if you are still there. I reinstated myself just in case in mid july. I never recieved a receipt or even a notification. Its crazy how they don't even tell us anything or respond to us in the emails. And when I speak to someone they immediately hang up or just don't really know, like its a big secret. Im going to see what happens in september. BTW, I don't know or I can't tell if its a funding issue which could be why mabstoa is being called rather than TA bus operator. I seriously don't understand why we just can't get answers. Alot of us spent alot of time and effort to work for this position.

Was your class postponed before ? I'm only asking because im in bus TA operator 7612 and my march 30th class was postponed. Everyone in exam 7612 hasn't heard a thing from 180 livingston except conjecture.

Did they install the barriers on the busses ?

Alright. Apparently after calling more than 10 times to 5 or 6 numbers. A gentleman on the phone said there will be another 7612 class real soon. Doesn't know about expire cdl permits. He said the hiring manager ronald st john is the one to speak too. Good luck reaching him lol. Last time I spoke to him was at 180 livingston. Really nice guy. So I emailed him.

Did anyone have an expired cdl permit and was permitted to proceed because the dmv extended expiration dates until further notice? Mine expires in mid September. I made an appointment to renew my permit.

They did extend it. But I don't know if the mta would accept it. So I called this dmv number 718-966-6155 and the automated system allows it to call you back rather than wait on que. She said I can make an appointment and just renew since the last time I had to take the written test ( after my first renewed permit expired). I already made an appointment. She said you can't renew those permits online. I hope everyone checks their expiration dates on their licenses. It almost caught me off guard.

I hear yah. I have to renew my cdl permit. It expires in September. Made a reservation to the dmv. You can't renew cdl permits online. And you can only do it once. After that you have to do the written or take the exam all over which I did in march. So this will be the second time I renew it. My god this is such a ride.
