Not at all. I don't know how big conductor classes are. But consider this. Some people will fail the drug test, miss the pre employment call in, they moved and need to be put back or simply not ready. They could fail the class too whatever it is. This is a good number. Doesn't feel rushed.

But if you type in the search box with your last name you can see yourself on the list. I just checked for a friend of mine. FEB 14 was when it was released to the nyc data website. You can also see other exams that you are on, but only if the list is published.

I emailed them, they said boss exam we too, is valid for the other exams. So don't have to take the other boss exams, and you can always check yourself with them too.

I got a reply from exams unit. Exams Unit You do not have to take the exam again. It takes a year sometimes longer before you receive the results. I emailed them a follow up just to make sure theres no error. I'd devastated if I applied for no reason.

Has anyone taken multiple boss exams in a span of a couple of months ? Some people like me will take more than 1 boss exam. Took one in december, and now I got one in a couple weeks. I emailed the exams unit to see whats up. I didn't get any results for the boss exam. Some people say you get results back for the boss exam, and some others say they never received a result for the boss exam, and just get to the pre-employment phase when its time.

I heard that a list will be published for this TO exam probably in june or july. Is it possible to get called for before a list is even published ? ALSO, if a list is published does that include promotional employees ?

Congrats, I guess will have to take another boss exam for this test too. Buts its alright. I am a low number list on the other exam that I took in december.

I got the letter for the boss exam for 7300 to take at the end of this month, I took the boss exam for 7105 last year in December. Does it matter if you take the boss twice ? What happens if you pass one and fail one ? or pass both/fail both ?

Thanks young for the clarification. For about an hour I was totally confused. CIVIL EXAM and BOSS for nyc transit. Got it. Now wonder why the boss for 7105 came so fast, different structured groups.

No no, im sorry. The exam 7612 most of us took the exam, and its finished. Now we are just waiting for the BOSS exam for 7612. I took it in October. After the exam comes the boss exam. Some applications for 7612 and 7105 have different criteria. Like 7105 you don't take an exam, just the BOSS survey. I got confused. Thats because the mta bus operations has different operations or different departments that work. They are the same, but not the same. Different departments. So some tests require a CIVIL exam, and the other just the BOSS.

Alright, I think I got it, I took bus exam 7105, the boss, I took in december. I believe thats what the confusion is. Is it possible that you can apply for more than 1 exam, and the later exam with the later application filing date comes out first before the first one you applied for ?

I took bus exam 7612 last year. But I think I got called in for boss exam 7105. Nevertheless I took the boss exam, and I have a list number. I am not sure, I took alot of tests. I can't find the letters or the emails. I have to search for them. They are some where in my house. But I think thats what happened. Because nobody here took the boss exam for 7612. I am totally confused.

Thats awesome. Does every trip start and end at the depot ? Sometimes I see on 39st in brooklyn, I see bus drivers waiting there on the corner (outside the depot) like they are waiting for something. And sometimes I see them on 38st pulling in and out that area in the depot.

Silly question. Where do you punch in and out as a bus driver ? at the depot ? And overtime, do you get overtime on sunday or thursday ? or after 40 hours ? Thanks.

You guys have any scary stories about your experiences ? A really tough time learning ? How did you cope with it ? Seen aliens under ground ? Stuff like that ? Maybe ghosts ? You guys have to work with different personalities, can you help explain whats a good way to avoid someone you have to work with that is really an pain in the you know what ? Because I can tell there are some tough tough personalities that work for the mta. When you have to report something to a supervisor or mention something important, how do you have time to run your job and explain over the radio or that someone is acting up ? or some other employee did something wrong ? Or do you have to file a report ?

Took the boss, was not hard at all. I was looking for denzel washington, and I didn't see him. Parked at the DMV and walked over to 180.

I'm number 6**. But is it a good thing if you just took this exam this summer, and you get a notice for the boss that fast ? After you take the boss, does that mean you are a few months away ? or a year from being hired ? I am not trying to get my hopes up. I know it takes a long time, I'm not even excited, im baffled.
