R46 married pair 6252+6254 has returned to service (despite being seen by itself in 207th Street Yard for whatever reason). At this point, only one married pair has not seen in service... yet. This likely means that none of the married pairs were actually retired. However, there is also a possibility that units could be reactivated for whatever reason such as when the R211 was taken out of service.

Any paint software works. You just need to know its capabilities and how to use it properly.

Attention everyone! It has come to my attention that I have made a fatal flaw. I was under the assumption that MTA used 90 by 7 Luminator Horizon LED side signs, but that does not exist and they do not use it. In fact, they use 96 by 8, and the fonts that they use just happens to imitate the flipdot 90 by 7 signs. If you have requested and received a 90 by 7 Luminator Horizon LED side sign from me, please let me know and I'll have new ones made.

Depends on the type of Luminator Horizon you're looking for. There are various sizes.

Forgot to mention that 5550,2,3 were mentioned as "for parts" by a Coney Island Yard paper.

It's possible that they have been swapped out for service by the other ones that have returned to service like 6244+6246. Either way, this means that 6244+6246 is not retired nor being used for parts. However, it going to CIY was still likely true, though for maintenance. Additionally, 6252+6254 has been confirmed to be in 207 St Yard by itself. Now that's interesting...

Never mind, it's definitely retired. It was missing its third rail contact shoe assembly since June.
