So for the Temporary Speed Signs on my paper work there is no indications, Is that correct? It just has the different names i.e. Temporary Advance Speed-Limit Sign. So if we get that on the exam we leave indication blank?

When I try to use the cd I get "Page p171 does not exist and could not be loaded." error. Does anyone else get this and know how to fix?

My buddy who works for MTA told me list will be mailed in July.

I had heard last few tests people were still called even with scores in 70s. I think if you scored 85 or higher within 3 years you will be called.

Yes it goes by scores. Just be patient. Youll get called at some point with those scores.

I have a problem. I had ordered my job history from the IRS but it just came in and as a result I completely forgot to put n job down on my app. It was an on call job I had for 2 months 7 years ago. Am I screwed? Im set to take the review class Tuesday but now due to this I am not sure how to proceed.

The fact that people who got 4 wrong are getting letters gives me hope that even though I got 7 wrong I can hopefully get a letter within the next 2 years.

I have a friend who works for MTA as a conductor. We took the TO test together. He said they need alot of TO becsuse many retired and also moved up to management. So is there no background check or medical before receiving the letter?

How many definations did you do daily and how many hours?

I didnt get any emails. I have my review class next Tuesday. If my group is being looked at for the a class early next year then if they go forward with you it will most likely be in fall.

When I went for the initial class in March we were told if we finish the whole process and are chosen we would be placed in a class early next year. Based off that I think you would be looking at a Fall class.

Just got my invite for May 15. Anyone know of any web sites that can help with studying? I did a search and found a few sites with LIRR vocab but not sure if its real or not.

At my testing during the presentation it was stated that the belief is during your the classes we are over prepared for the exams. To those that took the classes would you agree with this? Also did you know of anyone who couldn't pass the test within 7 attempts and was fired?

I was surprised that the majority of my class passed the first exams. Everything I was reading here had me thinking half the class would fail.
