@Coney Island Av I agree with trains terminating at Broad Street. At the same time,I keep late nights at Essex or Myrtle. Nice way of breaking the proposals down though
Didn't someone already say why this won't work. But late nights, you'd be better off turning trains at Chambers Street
Your Transfers:
to Chambers transfers
it's just one less line. but not a big deal
Thank You. to 96 Street at Nights/weekends is temporary
Or. to 96 Street all times except late nights with the being a Sea Beach Shuttle overnight, from Coney Island to 36 Street-Brooklyn or Whitehall Street.
Astoria Locals. 3 's to 86 street (Brooklyn) and 3 's to Queens Plaza. Maybe you can switch the to local and the express to keep familiarity.
Nah. The to 14 street would be better
the is fine as is.
The , eh. I can somewhat agree
KEEP THE f**kING AS IS. I HIGHLY DISAGREE WITH EXTENDING IT LATE NIGHTS
Passengers Will hate hate hate hate hate hate
Foamers gonna foam foam foam foam foam foam
I'm just gonna sit here and railfan all day
........ok, what am I doing at this point
True, but QBL CBTC will come sooner so the fleet assignments should look something like this
April 2019-July/August 2020 train shutdown era.
swap ALL R46's with the
hands over ALL 8 car R160's to ENY and CIY
ENY and Pitkin/207 hands over all R32's and R42's to CIY. While they get R179's.
R160, 10 car R179
10 car R160
Half R68A, half R32. R42's as back up
8 car R32's and R160's
R160, 8 car R179
only R143's
gets additional R160's from the
All R46 and some additional R68's.
After 2020
gets its R160's back
keeps the R32's and R42's
keeps its 179's but could get R46's back or R68(A)'s
R211's come in and could possibly go to the and lines
I tried to make a certain transfer but failed so I went to a different line. Besides, this isn't my first rodeo. If the swap wasn't happening then I would've stayed on the for my whole trip home
I got on the this morning at 63 Drive - Rego Park. Now towards Manhattan it wasn't slow but it was gonna get crowded at Roosevelt so I took my chance and dipped. I wait for the train and the ride was A LOT smoother and faster. Same with the from 42 St to Jay St.
On my way home was a different story. I get on the and try to transfer to the and at Fulton. The platform was crowded and I wasn't willing to stay either so the train showed up. The Air Conditioning was HORRIBLE. I transfer to the to 14 Street Union. Square. Tried waiting for the AGAIN. Platform was crowded and no train arrived. But I did get a cool view of the and trains (going southbound) leaving Union Square from a mezzanine view. 3 minutes in a sweaty Broadway Platform where I saw some hot chicks. train arrives and had Great Air conditioning. But I got off at 42 Street. Got on the 42 Street. Walking dead advertisements 👌👌👌👌. I get off at Grand Central where I saw some more hot chicks and got on the . Stayed till Roosevelt and the ride on the train towards Forest Hills WAS SLOW AS SHIT. I had to let an Train go cause it was overcrowded. Overall I rate my commute today
5.5/10
I don't know. I just know that it re-opened today on my way to school. As for why it took so long, it's because they did work at 121st, letting 104th just sit there. Other than that, I'm on the same boat as you
I rode the R179 train yesterday and this morning. Yesterday my zipper got stuck on the doors on the first car cause EVERYONE likes to squeeze in there at Norwood Avenue in the evening rush. I posted a video on Instagram about it. It was an awkward experience

I feel too lazy to explain myself and I have homework to finish, so I hope this article answers your question+
So it should be like this?
R32, R179, (maybe R160's)
All 5 car R160's
R160, R179, (R143's for backup)
All R143
All R160
R68A, R32, R42
R46, R68
R32, R42, (maybe 4 car R160's)
This, seems like a VERY likely outcome, though I'm not certain of it. but if I were you, I'd send ALL of my R32 trains down Rockaway and leave some for the Rockaway Park, and I don't see how the train is affected by this. The on the other hand I can somewhat understand
Speaking of sick passengers, does anyone know what happened to that EMT program where you put EMT's at each subway station.???
Did that program ever pass?
