  1. I guess set 3050-3057 came out of the shadow as well. Enjoy the clip!
  2. Are they testing any trains on the Brighton line?? According to the MTA website southbound B trains are running local in Brooklyn due to equipment testing. Maybe it's set 3010-3019 that came out of the shadow????
  3. @Coney Island Av don't take it personally. You have been bullied by some people in the forum, but there are other people in the forum who do respect your opinion and have your back.
  4. I agree and that is what I have been posting as well. Speculation is not the problem. The problem is the bullying.
  5. A third set entered service? Which set number??
  6. What @Coney Island Av means is that he/she can't post anything due to all the bullying that has been going on. I'm glad that @Coney Island Avis posting again. Again, everyone has the right to share an opinion and everyone else in this forum need to respect those opinion whether we agree or disagree. No more bullying!!!
  7. I agree with you. Thanks for sharing the information. And for everyone else, please stop the mocking, teasing and insulting. Let's RESPECT each other's opinion whether we agree or disagree.
  8. Well at least the people who live near or by the Concourse Local stations will be happy. But again there is the other option of adding trains to the B.
  9. That is so true. It's a big problem in the Bronx. Either the MTA adds more trains to be B or the D runs local in the Bronx 24/7. 25 trains on the B?? I doubt it.
  10. I understand, but are there currently 25 trains running on B?? Because it seems less considering how long people have to wait for the B, especially during rush hour in the Bronx and upper Manhattan.
  11. The r42s will be retired as well as some r32s, especially now that there's a surplus of trains. Only a few r32s will be preserved for Canarsie tunnel shutdown.
  12. It may work. It would be weird having brand new trains on the B. It does address the need of more trains on the B, especially during rush hour where the wait times is ridiculously long compared to other lines and having the D running express in the Bronx makes the situation worse.
  13. Here's another recent clip on the r179's. Enjoy!!
  14. I agree. Disagreements are Ok as long as it's said in a respectful manner. @coneyislandav don't feel discouraged. You and everyone else in this forum have the right to express your opinions.
  15. I agree. Everybody has the right to make an opinion and give suggestions. What needs to be stopped is the mocking, teasing, insults and other disrespectful behavior. There's no need to shut this page, especially now when the production cars are slowly being delivered. All we need to do is to be respectful of each other's opinion whether we agree or disagree. RESPECT!!! RESPECT!!! RESPECT!!!
  16. While sets 3010-3019 and 3050-3057 are MIA, more recent videos have appeared on the sets that are in service. Enjoy!
  17. What happened with sets 3010-3019 and 3050-3057?? They were the first sets to be delivered and both sets did most of the rigorous testing, but now they're MIA!!!
  18. Thank you!!! I agree with you 100%!! Everyone has a right to share an opinion or offer suggestions. I stated my opinion and explained the reasons. Some people agree, some people disagree. Other people have stated their opinion. Some people agree, some people disagree. Disagreements are Ok. What is not OK is insulting, name calling, swearing and being disrespecting to each other. Unfortunately, a couple of people in the forum are doing this and that is not right.
  19. I don't think people are being blinded with BS. Yes stations, tracks, signals, etc need to be repaired. Yes the oldest fleet in the system need to be retired already. Yes more trains need to be added on subway lines that don't have enough trains. The surplus of trains can alleviate some of these problems, if the MTA makes the right decisions.
  20. Both the A and C can share cars, whether it's the r179's, or the r46s. I don't think anyone is questioning The important thing is, like I mentioned before, that the 12 10 car r179's go to the A/C, the 8 car NTT'S as well as the r32s go to the G, while the displaced r68s go to the B. I know a lot of commuters in the Bronx, Manhattan and Brooklyn will be very happy if this scenario happens.
  21. I think it's possible and the most logical option. And with the 12 10 car r179's on the A/C, it will most likely work.
  22. Yes, although I did mention in a previous post now that there's a surplus of trains, that the MTA should consider adding trains to the B. It doesn't matter the fleet.
  23. I agree. The W is a part time line and it has NTT. History has proven to us that the MTA has the tendency of dumping the oldest and most unreliable fleet to the A and C. I think it's time that the MTA show some love toward A and C train riders, who pay the same fare as everyone else, by putting these 12 10 car trains on one or both lines.
  24. In the event that the r68s get displaced from the G, due to NTT'S or r32s, those displaced r68s cars can be added to the B. The B needs extra trains during rush hour, especially in the Bronx, where the D runs express during rush hour, and there are big gaps between B trains causing very long waits and overcrowding especially on 145th Street. Either the MTA adds more trains to the B or the D runs local 24/7 in the Bronx.
