Ms. Vargas told me she had only processed up to 757 for medical last week. Not sure where the 730 is from. It might seem that they've really slowed hiring at this point. Guess that's life. But it can be a bit sucky to see people with your same exact score already in schoolcar, simply because the 5th digit in their ss no was lower than urs. Something I have no control over. Just venting. Least I can still enjoy my reg 8 to 4 sked until Transit screws that up for years.

Was Ms. Vargas there? I called today for an update, and the lady who replied (Emma Rivera) said she was not in. She also gave me confusing info when I asked what the last list number called for Medicals was, and said the last person appointed from the list is 8,440. I asked her for the context of what she meant, since i didn't see any list numbers from either drug tests or medicals nearly that high here. 180 Livingston can be confusing. Hope there's a feb and mar class, too. Are they in the 8-900s for meds yet? Hard to tell.

I hear you, but as you indicated, just cause the skipping goes down, doesn't mean the deferring or failing of medical and/or drug tests won't. Or that a bunch of folks just won't take the job. When I went for pre-emp at least five people on probation with the city deferred. Multiply that over and over, and things could go faster than thought again. Time will tell.

Thry jumped rapidly from 600 to 700 so I think you'll be likely for a jan class.

I heard that jan class was the 27th on here? Guess that was either wrong info or they changed it. I wonder if there's gonna be Feb, Mar, and April classes, too.

I already did p/e on the 7th. But they're not at my number for medical, sadly. So it's a waiting game for now. Hoping for a jan class.

Last week ms vargas told me they were beginning medical calls for people in the 600s. And barely a week later they're almost done? Wow. My 1100ish number might be called for meds much sooner than thought. If there's a jan or feb class, hopefully.
