  1. I actually meant avoiding distraction in the sense of not seeing what's ahead while scanning that often. For reference, I tried scanning the mirrors once every 3 to 5 secs while driving my mom's car, but it impeded my ability to focus on the road. I, like many other drivers, just look at them subconsciously when someone comes near or when I'm about to lane shift.
  2. Also how do you check the mirrors every 3 to 5 secs without getting distracted? Do you count literally 3-5 secs each time between checking?
  3. Wow that's 16 different lights. How did you memorize them?
  4. Yeah. I just hate how NOBODY at Livingston seems to have an idea what is and isn't happening with the exams. Btw for pretrip do you have to say the exact name of each exterior light (such as kneeling?)
  5. Thank you Young. But please hold your condolences because Ms Chestnut called me for medical tomorrow! This organization is ass backwards with organization but hey least I have a shot. And also, thank you for posting those b/o handouts in that sticky. I'm studying them tonight.
  6. Okay then. I've heard that its damn near impossible to contest a 1 in 3 rejection, though.
  7. But anyhow, I thank everyone here who took the time to help me.
  8. I don't do drugs. Only thing I could think of that sunk me is that in the section where it asks if you were fired from a job before, I admitted I was terminated from a 2016 job where I drove cars to be TLC commissioned because they said I wasn't parking them properly.
  9. Will still do that, but she was able to access and see my information before telling me. It is what it is at this point. I'm looking ahead to the other list I'm on.
  10. Now that I've been dq'ed from a mabstoa exam, I'm holding out for this exam instead. Anyone know when the list is going to be officially established?
  11. I called Ms. Rivera, and she indeed confirmed my suspicions. The letter will apparently tell me I am no longer being considered for the position. So I basically wasted all my time and money on this process...lovely.
  12. But that's the thing. I was told to look for an email after drug test. But now im told Im getting a letter in the mail? Idk what that means.
  13. So the letter im getting will be for medical? Do they send letters for that?
  14. Thank you. At least if im dq'ed I have a high list no on the recent trainop exam. Will contact this person.
  15. I've never worked for transit in any capacity.
  16. So I called Ms. Chestnut to follow up today. She said a letter will be sent to me sometime within the next two weeks but didn't know what it said. After I took the drug test sept 5, the Lady at Livingston, however, said a response would be emailed to me. I hope this isn't a bad omen.
  17. Its a risk ill have to take. If something unfavorable happens, least i have a great list no for the 2017 t/o exam.
  18. In that case I won't even have a chance to give two weeks notice then.
  19. Besides dont you immediately go to line training after the 7-10 day training?
  20. I don't have those options at my job now, unfortunately.
  21. As I've heard. Idk why they do that. But i plan to followup very shortly if no email comes this week.
  22. No just did drug test wed. Waiting on email for medical.
  23. Just realized something about giving my current employer two weeks' notice. When I pass the 7-10 day training (which I'm telling myself I will), I go straight to line training, right? That means if I leave for the initial training, and when I pass, I wouldn't be able to really give two weeks notice anyways. So in coming up with an excuse to leave, I pretty much am leaving completely. I hope I make sense.
