UPDATE..... I called again this morning and I was told that next year classes are for MTA Bus and MaBOTSA. And that TA has a few more classes this year, even this Month. Confused cause i was told by St Jean that since i didn't make the 9/25 class that I'd be in the next one. Smh list number is 3xx.

No new classes/Hiring till the 1st Q of the new year according to the guy who be at window 7 at 180! I hope it's not true... 😫

You may be right. The Lady i just spoke to today said that they're gonna start calling again starting n3xt week and that St Jean is out on leave for the time being. So I'm pretty sure someone else will be temporary taking over calling us...

My 2nd drug test expires this Sunday. Smh lol so that means when i finally do get called for final processing I'll have to take a 3rd one. 😒😔😏

Yea i even read/seen something on the news about Bus Operators. That MTA planned on having pre pandemic level Bus Operators hired by end of Summer. So that could explain the hiring freeze and why the exams were also canceled for now. It's just a waiting... we go back to living our daily lives till that fateful "final processing" email hits our inbox lol till then keep your license in good standing. I've already had a stupid fender bender accident that apparently is my fault according to my and his insurance smdh. My first at fault accident since i started driving in 2007. I was pissed!

No it don't mean that... it just means nothing is scheduled past the 9/25 class. My guess is that Transit didn't give a big budget for BO's when they started calling again late summer.

No new scheduled classes after 9/25. Just continue to work and go about our daily lives till one is scheduled lol

I was called again today after i got my appointment email for tomorrow and was told by St Jean that the 9/25 class is now filled and once the new class is scheduled I'll THEN come in for final processing. Did it say if you're still being considered for Sunday's class?? I go in tomorrow morning for final processing as well. Thank God me putting my foot in my mouth last week didn't cost me like it could've! I'm mentally prepared now to stay well into the night if i have to lol although final processing usually just takes half a day as I've seen when I've gone for Day one and two. We get to wait on the "other side" now haha almost there.... 😏👌🏾

Yea you can't be too truthful on that medical questionnaire cause it'll trigger a medical hold. I'm pretty healthy person but i still answered "NO" to everything on that questionnaire lol I'll know hopefully by the end of next week if i can finish where i left off or if I'll have to do DayOne and DayTWO again.

I didn't even ask about October. I was just so fed up at that point. I have since calmed down tho. I'm cool with where I'm at for the time being. I just wish i was this level headed last week. Meh oh well. :/

I was told on Thursday that there is a hiring freeze again smh but the 9/25 class is still happening but they also had to cap how many they let in that class as well.

I've NEVER dealt with a hiring process like NYC Transit.... 3 years to get called and then hoops and jumps to get to training. Yea shit was frustrating af! As for the job.... ive been a city bus Operator for 11 years. ExtraBoard...Regular Runs...8 hour between shifts... 4 hour long breaks.... passengers...Holidays...overnight...late night.....on report/StandBy for 8 hours and about to go home when i get called to do a 8 hour run.... yea i hear ya! I've done it all lol

How far along were you when you had to restore your name?? My dumbass was at final processing.... waiting for that to happen when i got too stressed with the looong process and make the mistake of telling them to "Take my name off the list" smh.... im hoping since i was at Final Processing that I'll be able to continue from there..... but I'm not holding my breath.... I'll learn to have more patience the next time around 😅😅

Man they work QUICK when taking your name off the list smdh ( I had just called them last Friday) . St Jean said he'll add me back by next week. Then i was told that they'll get back to me on weather i can just go straight to final Processing or if I'll have to start at DayONE again 😒 ***FingersCrossed*** 😫

Sigh. Well I'll cool my jets this time around. I'm still holding out hope that St Jean will let me continue on to final processing. But if unfortunately not... I have day1 and day2 applications electronically saved. So all i have to do is print them out and then just chill out this time and don't get so dang frustrated like i did smh
