The list expires in 2022! Thats a long time. You got to remember, people turn down the job, fail drug tests etc. Might not be in a year but I'm sure they'll reach 4400s before year 2022.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I received a mail for another PE next week, looks like they'll be calling a class soon.

I hope so, the waiting is tiring. Took this test in 2016, almost 4 years! But I bet it's worth the wait.

I'm about 60 away! I called up Ms. Vargas, she said the next class will have 35 people and they're waiting for the upper management to give them a date. I asked if a class might be scheduled this year and she said they might have one before the year ends. Talking to a few people I know, I've heard that MTA doesn't like to hire in December so they might not even have any more classes for the rest of this year. We'll just have to wait and see, I like to check in with Ms. Vargas once a week for updates.

Called up Ms. Vargas today to get some insight on when another class would be held and was told one is scheduled for October 28th. Unfortunately I won't be making it to this class because it is full/small per her words. Right now the list number is at 1760s and I'm low 18**s. This is beginning to feel like an eternity! Good luck to the people that are starting on the 28th.

Same here, less than 100 away! where did you get this information from? I've been calling Ms. Vargas since yesterday to get an update but it looks like she on vacation or something.

I don't know if that's correct, I'm list number 18** and have been called in for PE already. Are you sure you're are not talking about Medical?

Does anybody know when is the best time to call Ms. Vargez? I've been calling her phone and it rings out every time.

That sucks man, to wait all these damn years and to go to multiple PE's just for the 1 in 3 rule to screw you over. I'm hoping for the best man!

No, I was going for my first PE list number #18**. I finished about 11:30, I'm glad I went early!

I believe I got my first job when I was 20, I was a full-time college student from 18-20. Just say I was unemployed for those 2 year?

Just got my first PE in the mail today, I have to report on June 7th. Any last minute tips so that I don't have to stay the entire day.

Out of the 1320 that were called, does anybody know how many people MTA actually hired?

I'm also in the 18** range, the list was established 2018 I believe and I find it's moving fast considering it is at 1320. Realistically it's just 500 people ahead of us, Last year they called up to list number 10##. I was hoping maybe a year or less but I guess it all depends on the needs of MTA. If it is, in fact, a 2-year wait I might have to consider another career! Maybe Corrections or PD.
