  1. With no evidence for saying this, I think the will likely stay 8-car for a while.
  2. Finally at Jamaica Center. Got almost an hour of footage!
  3. Now at Broadway Junction. 5 sets are on the line, which IIRC is all of them.
  4. I’m on my way to Broad St. Do you have any idea of where that set is now?
  5. You can't terminate trains at Franklin Ave. You can't switch trains from the 6 Ave express tracks to 8 Ave express tracks at W 4 St. You can't terminate trains at 42 St. You can terminate trains at neither Queens Plaza nor 7 Ave. I would suggest you look at this track map in the future.
  6. Hmm, I didn't consider that. It might be OK to close Rector St ( and ).
  7. 145 St () Nostrand Ave () Van Siclen Ave () Aqueduct Racetrack () 155 St ( and ) Lafayette Ave () Broad St ( and ) Hewes St (, , and )
  8. : Southern terminus cut to Chambers St. : Southern terminus cut to 42 St. : Runs via after Franklin Ave. : Suspended. : Runs express from Bergen St until Church Ave. : Southern terminus cut to Bergen St. (depending on damage): Runs from Jamaica Center to Alabama Ave or Crescent St and Chauncey St or Myrtle Ave to Broad St. : Eastern terminus cut to Halsey St. : Runs from 96 St to Prospect Park and from Kings Highway to Coney Island. : Runs via / from Atlantic Ave to 36 St. : Suspended. Next: Due to faults in a common computer system used at some interlockings, a group of hackers has managed to cripple the following areas: 36 St Interlocking (, , , and ) DeKalb Ave Interlocking (, , , , and ) Rogers Junction (, , , and ) 50 St Interlocking (, , and )
  9. Aww. In the future, where will things like this be posted? (Where was this posted? I didn’t see it on the NYCT Subway Twitter and I tried to DM them to no avail.)
  10. Is it a credible source? I’m currently at Broad St hoping to see one, but there’s no point if they’re retired.
  11. Where did you find this? Do you have a link?
  12. Great to hear! I assume it will run this afternoon, but do you know when or for sure?
  13. For the record, if a overshot Broad St, it would affect only and service, not also the Montague St tunnels. However, I'll humour you in this scenario. : Runs via after 34 St until Canal St. : Runs via after W 4 St and terminates at 2 Ave. : Runs from Jamaica - 179 St to Bergen St and from Church Ave to Coney Island. : Southern terminus cut to Bergen St. : Western terminus cut to Chambers St. : Runs from Forest Hills - 71 Ave to Canal St (upper level) and from Jay St to Bay Ridge - 95 St. : Suspended. : Western terminus cut to Chambers St. Next (AM Rush): A terrorist organisation attempting to attack City Hall detonates explosives in a train on the City Hall loop, causing a cave in of the and tracks above. No trains may pass on either level. A major signal fault occurs at W 4 St, meaning that no train (with the exception of the 8th Ave express tracks) can be sure of where it will go, and as a result, you are advised to terminate all service through the station. A Transit Museum heritage train stalls at Rogers Junction (east of Flatbush Ave on the Eastern Pkwy line), meaning no Manhattan-bound trains can pass through.
  14. This was intended to say: : Runs from Forest Hills - 71 Ave to Court St and from 36 St to Bay Ridge - 95 St. My apologies.
  15. : Runs from Woodlawn to 138 St - Grand Concourse and from 86 St to Crown Heights - Utica Ave. : Southern terminus cut to E 180 St. : Runs from Pelham Bay Park to 3 Ave - 138 St and from 86 St to Brooklyn Bridge - City Hall. : Runs from Norwood - 205 St to Jay St via from W 4 St using Bergen St lower level to turn around and from 36 St to Coney Island. : Western terminus cut to Marcy Ave. : Runs from 96 St to 2 Ave and from Myrtle Ave to Middle Village - Metropolitan Ave. : Runs from Astoria - Ditmars Blvd to Canal St (upper level) and from 59 St to Coney Island. : Northern terminus cut to 42 St - Times Sq. : Runs from Forest Hills - 71 Ave to Court Sq and from 36 St to Bay Ridge - 95 St. : Suspended. : Suspended. Next (AM Rush): An attempted murder occurs at Atlantic Ave - Barclays Center and the NYPD orders that no trains may pass through the station during the investigation. A New York & Atlantic Railroad train on the LIRR Bay Ridge Branch derails near New Utrecht Ave - 62 St, causing structural damage to both levels. As a result of East Side Access construction, a tunnel caves in underneath Northern Blvd and causes the , , , and tracks as well as the road above to collapse, which in turn causes the and tracks to fall.
  16. : Runs express from Franklin Ave to Atlantic Ave northbound. : Runs via from Chambers St and terminates at Rector St using the outer South Ferry loop to turn around. : Runs via after Franklin Ave. : Southern terminus cut to Bowling Green. : Suspended. : Stops at DeKalb Ave. : Stops at DeKalb Ave. : Runs from 96 St to Canal St (upper level) and from Prospect Park to Coney Island. Next: Monday, 4am: A water main bursts near Dyckman St. The entire station floods, rendering it impassable. This also means there is no connection from Dyckman St to the 207th St Yard, so there will be a shortage of rolling stock on when rush hour comes. Monday, 8am: Due to the ongoing reconstruction works, there is a fire on the Grand Central platform. The entire station must be evacuated and no trains may pass through due to large amounts of smoke. Monday, 10am: A suicidal person somehow makes their way from the walkway on the Manhattan Bridge to the tracks. As the NYPD attempts to calm them down, no trains can cross the bridge on either side. Monday, 12pm: The person is coaxed off the Manhattan Bridge and service may resume. Monday, 2pm: A drunk person on the tracks causes a major derailment on the where a Manhattan-bound train jumps off the rails and crashes on to the and platforms at Broadway Junction. Power is shut off to the and platforms. Miraculously, no one dies, but no trains will be able to go through Broadway Junction for a while. Monday, 2pm: The fire at Grand Central is extinguished and the FDNY gives the all-clear to resume normal service. Monday, 10pm: All water is drained from Dyckman St and the station is usable again. Tuesday, 2am: A round-the-clock effort pays off, and the wreckage is cleared off of the tracks at Broadway Junction and service may resume.
