  1. Awesome! How do we get notified of the drug test? The general calls us in? Or the GS? Hopefully next week I can get the G46. 15-20 is a great number any updates would be appreciated
  2. I don’t have the exact route I remember it was I think 125 st all the way down to the battery. With turns all over. I could be wrong but I seem to remember that
  3. Since you got your cdl that’s one less thing to worry about, just do your best to qualify
  4. You can make mistakes up to day 5, because they are teaching days, day 6 has to be perfect for you to have a chance to pass on day 7. If you have day 6 and day 7 perfect you will qualify. If you don’t qualify it’s ok don’t stress it. You will go to day 8 and 9 with a different instructor in a different depot. Day 8 is a teaching day & day 9 is a chance for you to qualify, it is a testing day. If you don’t pass day 9 you have one more chance at day 10 at zegera, with 2 supts, one standing in the front & the other standing by the back door. You will drive in the Bronx only. Streets and on the highway. Listen to the instructor & try to the best of your ability, have a good night sleep the night before. You will be qualifying on the hybrids,… 4000 series buses with 2 mirrors on the right side, you’ll be alright. do you have your cdl already will you take the road test in the Bronx? I heard now the test involves pointing out engine and brake parts. I would have no idea where any of that is lol…. Good luck to everyone, it’s a good job
  5. When did zegera start doing classes on a Sunday? It was always Monday -Friday
  6. Oh that’s right, if it’s a Sunday no need to get there super early, but I’d try to get there at least by 6. Inside zegera they have cooked food, very good prices.
  7. If you get there early, go inside & have breakfast, they have cooked food much cheaper than the restaurant across the street from sanitation
  8. 430am, if you want a premium spot, by 5-530am every spot gets filled, it’s street parking, the school bus companies take up every spot, but luckly it’s the summer, so maybe you’d be good by 530ish. If it’s alt side days it’s worse. They want you in the classroom by 7am, there strict, they don’t play, exp on day zero. Good luck. If don’t wanna get there early take public transportation
  9. You can request a AVA or vacation or personal day before or after your RDOs, just don’t call In sick on probation, exp before or after a RDO, unless You have doctor lines
  10. It could be done if your on the extra list or if you do a change of RDO, let’s say FS off, and the following week you request SM off.
  11. Congratulations!! Once you go into line training & you are on your own be prepared to be out of the house 12 hours plus, depending how far you live from your depot.
  12. The Mac asks about any surgeries you had and the doctor might ask to check your check or stomach for any scars for evidence of a surgery. If your wearing pants they can’t/won’t check your knees, might have you bend down every doctor is different.
  13. My advice for any new hires that want to do the apnea test before your hired make sure you you bring a copy of the apnea test with you to medical & at least 30 days of the machine usage if you have it, and have the doctor write you a note saying you can drive in passenger service safely
