As the season changes from summer to fall, the next round of 70 cars: 4130-4199 deliveries get interesting. I could well see 4200s by late this year, depending how fast these cars come in.

Yeah I agree. It will be exciting to have a quarter of the base order done by next year.  Assuming that, 100-104 and 4040-4199 will be delivered Once we hit the new year. Speed is key. Literally.

Kamen rider didn't even have any proof of what he was saying was true lmfao. You just sound butthurt because you were proven wrong.

She did. You don't read. And I was proven wrong? Check again, bud. Kamen is actually a trustworthy person unlike somebody who writes clickbait shit (yeah, you, bitch). So um, yeah, go back to crawling into your cage.

Except you have no proof of your own other than hearsay and literal bullshit.

And since you refuse to stop with your nonsense in this thread, your privileges have been revoked.

Thanks, Cait. Much appreciate it. Couldn't agree more. And that's what the man gets for tryna f**k wit everyone else. (excuse my language)

In most cases the train leaves/arrives before or after the ferry left or arrived at the same time. All you're doing is proving everyone else wrong and contradicting yourself. You'll only get the ferry after heading out of the station if you are lucky.

Eh, ntbr, but all you're doing is trying to make this entire convo seem like you're the one who knows the entire New York...city. You Joined in on Saturday just to say 'Alr, f**k everyone else. I'm the big boy here.' When people like Kamen Rider, RandomRider0101, Bill, FLX9304, and others know a lot more than you do, bud. Because most of them work or worked for the subway and/or buses. Keep calm and stfu for everyone. Thank you.

And how do you know they lied?

The car shortage is/was very real after the unexpectedly early retirement of the R44s. The (A) & (C) lines felt the effects of the shortage for several years, and still do to this very day. Them scrapping more cars than necessary also didn't help when they got rid of more R32s than they should've.

    Take your tinfoil hat off.

The SIR hasn't had severe car shortages in a long time. They've been able to make service just fine before & after COVID. The system has also been receiving upgrades over the years, so they are pretty far from underfunded.

I've noticed that you've mostly shared misinformation and conspiracies in most topics that you've posted. You will be warned to stop that nonsense before your posting privileges get revoked. It reeks of trolling activity.

    He/she really thinks he/she knows it all…😂

Clearly you don't know what you're talking about.

SIR's headways are designed to meet with the ferry, hence why they are like that. 9 out of 10 times, they connect with both inbound and outbound ferries.

There's a bunch of SIR stations getting ADA upgrades over the next few years, with some getting elevators this year.

The car shortage has been pretty bad to a point where (C) service was reduced pre-COVID. The effects of said car shortage was also felt elsewhere in the B-Division, so it's not over exaggerated. It has had some noticeable effect with service over the years.

While the Lefferts Blvd branch of the (A) is the higher ridership route, the Far Rockaway side has never been too far off. That branch always sees good ridership(the ridership statistics proves that point). It's not as low as you make it out to be.

Take the bloody tinfoil hat off and stop posting misinformation and your own personal conspiracies. This is not the thread for your bullshit. This thread is about the R211s, not your conspiracy theories and misinformation.

    Anyway.......

4050-4054 spotted yesterday going to Jamaica yard last night, got it at Forest Hills. I suppose it did overnight CBTC testing.

Haha. I actually watched your vid too. I would have posted it but didn’t because I didn’t ask you for permission.

Cameras are being installed on this type of train located in the interior where the route is at. It can be seen at the ( point. Example (C) To 168 St/Manhattan, placed by the letter C.

Also, don't know if it's determined by car lengths total but, the (A)'s pool of R179s only have the "To" on the outside of their destinations (Example: To Inwood-207 St) while the (C)(J)(Z) cars do not.

    That's odd...

Since this is coming soon, how about we keep track of all cars being retired, and movements between the yards.  I would assume the worst of the cars will go first regardless of which yard they are in, but maybe once the real lemons are gone it won't matter.

There are currently 9 train sets of R211, including the open gangway cars but not the SIR cars.  At some point they will run out of room to keep both the R46 and the R211 fleets, although I get the impression from reading here that there is still room at the inn with the spare factor way down.  I go by 9th Ave/37th St from time to time and there is plenty of space there it seems.  And that is also the "last stop" for cars before scrapping.

It's kinda sad to see em go...

Since there was a misunderstanding about this interaction, I'm gonna address it again differently.

You used the wrong word. The correct term is 'in droves'. It was a typo. Since you didn't say it was a typo & instead doubled down on your claim, that was where the confusion began. But it's okay, we're all humans and we make mistakes.

That wasn't slang, that was a typo. He meant to say 'in droves'. You misunderstood your fellow philly friend.

Also, I apologize for offending both of you with my initial post; I was just confused when @FLX9304  not only didn't acknowledge his typo after being questioned about it, but also doubled down on it as if it was correct. Then @Ale188 went right along with it as if he knew what he was talking about. This is how a simple misinterpretation can turn into a bigger issue. We all need to work better on communication.

Why are you still worry about this? This was last week. It's like u can't get over a damn typo. I didn't see it, ok?

Who cares about the order in which the r211's get delivered?? The most important thing is that they continue to get delivered and gradually be placed in service.

IIHTS, a lot of people care. And yes, it is very important to place em in service from delivery.

The correct term is 'in droves' not "drones' lol. This isn't Philly, this is NYC. Plus both of you already have bad grammar & comprehensive skills as it is. So let's try sticking to proper English here please. Thanks

What are you, my ELA teacher? We can say whatever we wanna say here. You ain’t the boss of us. Plus how is this NYC if we’re on the web. Screens. Technology. You sound stupid. Sure, the website is called ‘New York City Transit Forums’, but here, we don’t only talk about New York City Transit, you see. Sometimes, you really need to myob. So, I’d rather you stay away from certain conversations. Next!

Huh? Makes less sense to me. I assumed it was a typo and you meant "droves".

Nah.Philly slang. We don’t use it much but we still use it. I hear a lot of Philly peeps say it. I did forget what it meant until the man told me.
