By 2025 once the option order hits in January the will start getting R211 to push out the cars R179 to the & for the increase spare factor. Which will push a most of the 4 car R160 to the . The MTA know the NYC population has been growing a lot.

Looks like the R46 I am being sideline one by one. Every time a R211 enters service.

According to Demetrius back on June 29 2023 press conference it will start by the first quarter of 2024.

That’s correct since all the R68 and R68A will be on Coney Island by 2025. Since the option 1 for the R211a will start in January of 2025.
