Attention ! Who ever wants 0058 its at quill now it has left ulmer park . I Saw it on the m42 today but couldnt get a good picture of it . But i have a friend who got some shots .

0058 was on the B6 limited today around 3PM, maybe it did one last run on the B6 before it went to Quill? That's great news! As the bus would be really easy to find on the M42, wasted a lot of time looking for this damn 0058 on the B6 since its been there, when I'm not looking for it the !@%%$* pops up, like today, when I didn't have my camara on me, and a few weeks back, I was commuting using the B6 and that 058 was the bus that came.

Kool! the more PBL V CNGs @ Gleason, the better! As its kinda rare to see those buses on Gleason routes these days, there becoming a bit more common since the 43 came back.

#9382 is at QV. I saw doing the (Q83) yesterday morning.

That's an odd move... I remember riding that bus this past summer on the B6, it was nice, clean and it ran good. On the plus side, UP got the 5000s that were reported a few posts up so its all good! For a while there UP was getting an endless barrage of 96 Novas, glad they upgraded in hand me downs lol.

Quick aside: So I was on an OG Hybrid the other day, and the driver had a lead foot. The speed increased and the RPMs built up, and then suddenly the RPMs decreased while the driver still had his foot down, still increasing speed. How on earth is that possible, to decrease the RPMs as you increase in speed, without a tranny?

Not to go off topic but the Toyota Prius sounds the same way at times, my parents rented one a while back and it was making that sound. Part of the reason why that car is a personal favorite of mine, when I heard it do that the first thing that came to mind was the hybrid buses here in NYC, not to mention this cool screen it has in the dashboard showing how the hybrid system is working in the vehicle, yeah, I was foaming. :cool:

I suggest Tinypic, I've been playing around with it this evening since I'm a bit tired of photobucket Myself. I like it better than photobucket so far, PB seems to take away from the photos IMO. Here are two examples..

Railroad law can be found at the FRA website, but i can say now 3rd rail etc doesn't matter, a railroad ROW in my opinion is able to carry freight and passengers. LIRR sees freight overnight, MNRR sees freight all the time, and SIR USED to be a heavily utilized freight line. PATH's ROW also sees freight usage, but it is all most isolated from the national rail network, so it is somewhat at risk of losing heavy rail status under the FRA rules. I personally don't think they will bother changing the rules for SIR or PATH because the system could be used for freight in the future.

The reason path has an FRA rules applied to them is because of an connection to the NEC at harrsion yard. Those NS freight trains run on the same ROW as path but not on the same tracks.

My camara maker is not even on the list! I have an sony H10 cybershot camera.

I feel the same way about path, its a subway not a railroad. Esp with those toy subway cars its fleet uses.

SIR R44's are diffent than the ones on the line. SIR 44's go much faster and have a diffent braking system which doens't make that weird hissing noise that NYCT 44's make.

SIR 44's are awsome, you should ride them they're really cool.

the SIR is a POS and a waste you only pay at St. George board at any other station you ride free no turnstyles i guess thats why they think they should ride the bus for free out there talk about the MTA losing MONEY

3800 was spotted by a friend of mine on Kings Hwy. a little while ago.

THEY ARE HERE! Two NGs, 3800 and 3801 are at Castleton, and will be in service tomorrow!

These buses should be easy to find all you have to do wait at the ferry terimal and they should pop up. I will proalby go look for them next week being i will have some free time.

I also think so sometime. Last summer I used to play trainsim alot. But when everything annoyed. I decided to spend 2 weeks in a resort hotel in Catskills, where there is no trains and no traces of them at all. (boring place actualy, Wurtboro, NY)

 

Prior to going on a vacation I had a very interesting talk iwth AQ_ (my friend from Russian Forums) and he told me the folowing:

Not only the MSTS players are video game foamers with no life. The convenience of e-communications, and that society prefers it instead of the live talks (phone talks) makes be believe that I am a foamer with no life!!!!!!

However, when I start to glue out a paper tram/train. I feel how living the life is.
