  1. Yea,i'v seen the R42 museum set (4572-73) in the TOMM every time i'v seen it.
  2. The museum has an R42 set saved,so i'd be suprised if they save another set.
  3. Really? stop posting about this,i think everyone here knows how much you like the R42.just stop because you're trolling at this point.
  4. There are still plenty of 2003 Orion VII CNGs at West Farms.
  5. No,they manufactured the R110B cars. til next time
  6. 137-145 is just a lay-up yard,it doesn't have a maintaince shop like 207 or 240.
  7. Those R42 cars that are retired aren't coming back, same with the R44's.it's not a waste if they had to be replaced, nothing lasts forever.

  9. There were no plans to send the R32 cars east.
  10. Pitkin isn't big enough to house all of the cars that run on the and Rock Pk .207th would still be used for storeage if it does become the main shop for the line.
  11. That full R188 is a converted R142A,so it may still have the Adtranz propulsion.

  13. The founder of the IRT, August Belmont, Jr. designed the tunnels so that no other private operator could use the tunnels.
  14. I don't see the R143's leaving the line,ENY has 208 R143 cars.that isn't enough for service and you would need over 300 R179 cars to cover service.the line won't see any new subway cars until the R68/A cars retire.
  15. Just because there is one trackway from the going to 207th St yard doesn't mean a thing, that yard is big enough to maintain the lines subway cars alone.
  16. From what i hear,it won't be temporary.207th St yard would still be used as storage for the (A)/© line subway cars.
  17. The cars were stripped in the overhaul shop prior to reefing.
  18. 207th yard may just become the home base for the line, while the and lines would be based out of Pitkin Yard.don't know when it's gonna happen though.
  19. The ()' /> makes money no matter what subway cars run, they won't have problems there.
  20. Pitkin would need an upgrade, when NTT are testing along the Rockaways they use pitkin just to store the train there.
