    So 4899 towed to the vendor yesterday morning & got its fare box removed.. Don't know if its being re powered just yet.. If transit would wake up & smell the coffee & buy the actual transmission that goes with the MaxxForce engine then everything would go smooth. They're using a powerful truck engine - a weak ass transmission. Those 2 don't get along..

    5057 FB - ZA (Vendor) saw it heading to ZA earlier on the belt..

    There's 8 in the depot, 7 left in service, 818, 847, 878, 881, 902, 958, 983. 920 has been out of service for about a week now so that's done for.. Reserve: 824 Scrap/Hold : 812, 855, 859, 868 (being stripped along with 903, 934 & 987 in the bays at EC) 923, 942, 945, 978.

    They left already, they didn't do anything they just sat in the yard.. The mechanics from U.P were driving them around. This garage doesn't even have C40 parts so it wouldn't be here for maintenance.

    This one came outta no where.. 493, 496, 500 & 505 (C40's) @ Ulmer Park from SC, all in the yard now.

    Right.. Thought that would be the first batch to make a move but I guess not.. Btw 934 being towed on the L.I.E heading for scrap..

    They might be.. The foreman told me this. NYCB & MTA Bus have different Fareboxes.. All 5 buses are from MTA Bus, they're with NYCT now so the boxes have to be switched over. Will find out more info as the days/weeks pass on.

    Lol, they're starting to take the Fareboxes out now, I guess they might go into service who knows..

    Alright here's the story.. 9349: AC/No Power 9002: Oil leak/ no power 9034: No Power at all 9259: No Power "Hold" 9048: No Power "Please hold" Basically all of these have no power.. 9349 no FB so it might actually be used, 9034 got its Farebox taken out today so it might be another one that'll be used..

    Not retired as of yet its under investigation. It's at the depot now, they can actually fix it. It wasn't in an accident on the B6, it was on the 36 I heard. The drivers side of the bus is smashed but they can fix it if they really wanted to. 9274 LG - JG. 4710 taking a nice trip through Maple Grove, MN (Minnesota)

    Yup, was fueled at 1am Thursday morning. Had it's last hand wash the other day, they cant bring it through the wash because the brushes will mess up the custom hand paint job. But... I don't know why they would change the sticker it was never from 34th street. They should've left the Ulmer Park sticker.. One of the supervisors at the event said it was retired.. The bus is still listed as assigned to Ulmer Park though.

    There's no codes to change.. There's separate fare boxes.. NYCT Fareboxes, and MTA Bus Fareboxes.. When a NYCT Bus or MTA Bus switches from one to the other they remove the Farebox and deliver the bus.

    Hey we all thought the hybrids wouldn't catch fire when they first came & well it happened.. Not happening.. Why would they fix buses that are already 14-16 years old & got rotted & rusted away. They're bound to get rid of them. I saw 6252 during the storm it was out in Coney Island, they tried using it to get the officers out of the 60 pct & the bus got flooded with water.

    That bus has been back for about 3 weeks now almost a month along with 4898. An Xcelsior..

    Like it'll be any cleaner than what these already are.. That doesn't mean they have roaches on the bus: they put the small combat traps on the sides just incase they do show then the traps will get them.

    U.P. is short, 9002's sheet said Pre-Service on it. If LGA took buses from here then this garage needs something in return & I think those buses will probably see service. Lets just wait and see... Really makes no sense to send buses all the way from Queens - U.P. to get worked on, MTA Bus can do the job,, shit send them to CP like they've been doing since Day #1. 9310 went from LGA - CP earlier... CP can fix it.

    575 is on the Q35 now, shot 596 pulling Into CP earlier. It's a mess over at LGA.. CP has 2104 and they're taking parts off of it. 9874 is sitting outside idling, but its not listed on the roster so I don't know what they're doing with it.
