  1. Think so, I heard the engine went too. But it don't take that long to replace a damn engine. It's been 8 going on 9 months in a couple of days.. Don't take that long... Or does it?
  2. I believe so, most likely yeah. It's not here I know that for sure.. It left here around November - December. Dunno.
  3. That bus isn't even in New York anymore, hasn't had a sip since October. Last time I saw it I was on the A shuttle at the beginning of November and I saw it at the vendor. It's getting work done, I heard they're gonna change the transmission but let's just wait and see. Should be back between now & no later than August I guess.
  4. Wow I could've sworn I saw that bus # a few weeks back. I was behind 1023 today. 868, 903 from JG - EC as of this morning.
  5. Or they might actually get rid of it. Looks like they did get to it right in time as the fire was starting up.
  6. Exactly, they can actually build a bus if they wanted to. Or take one of the retired 96-99's and put it as the metro card bus. Maybe they'll actually do it, then again it's the MTA. They'll think of the van over the bus, with the bus there's more room and the bus is bigger.
  7. I know 345-349 had the ads for it but not activated. Ahh I forgot about that
  8. Lol!! They weren't always a mess. Ever since they got these 9600's from Flatbush ... Maintenance went downhill. Well even then, before maintenance was on the job but ever since they got these buses from Flatbush everything went down hill. The last 2 years they were on their game! Fixing whatever needed to be fixed right there. Your right about the last part... This garage has been named #1 in road calls. Anywhere from 8-14 road calls 5 days a week (including weekends at times) Sorry to say it, but IMO ENY has less issues. Their equipment is beat to shit but they have less break downs In my honest opinion. Lmaoooo, im surprised too.. They'll cut her loose eventually. POS. Lmao, have to squint your eyes to see that tiny ass van coming down the block. Unlike the bus.. the bus is blue and people notice that one better than the van. Don't flip... It was sent to another depot to be fixed other than gleason because maybe the other depot has parts that gleason doesn't have. Gleason did have RTSs but Ulmer Park had the parts instead. It was here for Quite sometime but they sent it back a couple days ago.
  9. They can enable Bustime on any bus. It doesn't matter about the #'s all they have to do is activate it. I don't know why they would switch them. It cant deal with mileage I don't think. They're new and young like you said. No 320-344 has GPS.
  10. To clear things up.. 157 is at FR & 163 Is at JK. I know.. Real stupid. Thing is .. Why are they switching buses anyway ??
  11. They have both. The bus barely goes out, the van goes out the most.
  12. Right.. The passengers would just ride to a certain point if on a school line. Like some buses may start somewhere and go to a certain point and cut out.
  13. No I'm saying, for the school trippers when they pick up at FHHS they question those who don't have a student pass. Some drivers just let the people on..
  14. Nope. Well some don't care, as long as u have a card but some complain you know how they are.. They'll ask you if your a student and start questioning you.
  15. NoLmao Fort Hamton High School. They let you on as Long as you have a student pass. I haven't ridden one of their buses from my school since 2010.
  16. I don't think any ran out of fhhs. I was hanging around until 12:15 I didn't see anything.
  17. The older ones (D60's) are the best ones. These new 1's, they just make noise Lol something to help ya out ..
  18. Lol because most folks know what an articulated bus is. But it's a 60 ft. Long bus
