Some southbound trains are running on the or linefrom Franklin Avenue Station to Utica Avenue Station or New Lots Avenue Station. Some southbound trains terminate at Bowling Green Station. Allow additional travel time.

  3. I see on Subway Time that there are special trains running from Brooklyn to E.180th st.

For service from these stations, take the or (G)to 7 Av or Church Av and transfer to a Jamaica-bound or Court Sq-bound I guess the switches are up or will be up,and running by then.
  8. I'm not sure if subway time would always catch on to trains running local unplanned.
  9. Due to rail condition at the 168 Street Station, downtown trains are running between Van Cortlandt Park-242 Street Station and the 168 Street Station in both directions. Uptown trains are running between South Ferry Station and the 137-City College Station in both directions. Please expect delay in train service at this time. Wow so South Ferry is back up!
  10. Service Change Posted: 12/13/2012 4:03PM Due to a mechanical problem at the 145 Street Station, downtown trains are running express from the 148 Street Station to the 96 Street Station. Please expect delays on train service at this time. That's even possible? There is an express track there?
  11. The only thing I can think of is that some trains they Probobaly held in stations. So some trains were needed to fill the Gap in service.
  12. MTA Service Info Service Change Posted: 12/05/2012 4:48PM Due to someone requiring medical assistance at 59 St: Downtown trains are running express between 72 St and 42 St. Downtown trains are running local between 42 St and Chambers St. Please expect delays in and train service at this time. Why does the have to run local after 42nd st for that?
  13. True but the post said "some 7 trains" I believe. So unless there is a train using the express track a that time.they can quickly send one Manhattan Bound through.
  14. Can they do express in both directions ? Like one train goes towards Times Square. Then wait a few min then the next train goes?
  15. According to twitter this happened in the Canarsie Tube.I hope there weren't customers on that train...I Probobaly would have been terrified.
  16. I don't mean to keep asking but which borough is next for BusTime and when?
  17. Service Change Posted: 11/25/2012 4:53PM Due to a police investigation at Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall Station, Downtown trains run local between 14 St-Union Square Station and Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall Station. Downtown and trains will terminate at Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall Station. Some Downtown (5)trains will terminate at Grand Central-42 St Station Uptown (4)trains terminate at Wall Street Station. Some Downtown trains run on the line between 149 St and Times Square-42 St. Please expect delays in and train service at this time. I'm gonna go out a limb and say that power is off and NO trains are stopping between Wall Street and Grand Central.
  18. How many trains of R42's are running on the ?
  19. Since this is the Random thoughts thread I have a question. There is the storm potential this week for a nor'easter and accu weather says that "sustained" winds can reach 40 mph. This means another full shutdown would come on Election Day or so.Right?
  20. Due to switch problems at 42 St, some and train service are operating express 42 St to 125 St in both directions. I thought the is not running in Manhattan?
  21. Service Change Posted: 10/21/2012 10:13PM Due to a police investigation at the Times Square- 42 Street Station, there is no Times Square- 42 Street (S)Station train in both directions between the Times Square-42 Street Station and the Grand Central- 42 Street Station. For alternate service, please use the M42 bus which makes corresponding stops. Please expect delays in train service at this time. This must be crazy without no service. What was the threat anyway?
  22. Service Change Posted: 10/18/2012 1:18AM Due to a police investigation at the Jackson Heights- Roosevelt Avenue Station; There is no and train service between the Forest Hills- Roosevelt Avenue Station and the Queens Plaza Station at this time. Jamaica bound train service terminate at the Queens Plaza Station. Jamaica bound train service terminate at the 21 Street- Queens Bridge Station. Manhattan bound and train service terminate at the Forest Hills- Roosevelt Avenue Station. Please expect delays on the and train service at this time. Where is the Forest Hills- Roosevelt Avenue Station? I never heard of this station. Was it just built recently? EDIT: Now this Service Change Posted: 10/18/2012 1:30AM Due to a police investigation at the 74 Street- Broadway Station, there is no train service between the 61 Street- Woodside Station and the Flushing- Main Street Station in both directions at this time. 7 train service make all local stops between the Queensboro Plaza Station and the 61 Street- Woodside Station in both directions at this time. Looks like a Bomb threat or something.Thats something though to close down these 2 lines.
  23. Service Change Posted: 10/17/2012 2:30PM Due to a rail condition at Lexington Av-53 St, the following service changes are in effect: South-bound (E)trains via (M)line Roosevelt Av-Jackson Heights to W 4th St. Metropolitan Av-bound trains via (F)line 36 St (in Queens) to W 4 St. Please expect delays in and train service at this time. Sounds like another FAIL.Southbound trains has to pass by the rail Condition if the above is true.
  24. But switch problems can knock out 3 out of 4 tracks?Thats like 3 switches gone bad. and why couldn't some trains terminate at Grand central or something?
