Wouldn't the new 48 just go to Queens Village since it's a branch of the 46? I would rather see the 47 back at Flatbush and the 60 at East New York. Especially since it's supposed to be cut at Broadway Junction

Linden and Central was the 4. I know the was supposed to end at Elmont and Dutch Broadway.

It's nothing new. They opposed the Q79 there, now the 110.

They actually tried the latter in both drafts.
I'm just glad both plans are in a dumpster fire

The Q1/6 and Q10/64 mergers...
That was the second draft. I was referring to the first

The same draft plan that proposed removing the Q53-SBS, replaced the Q8 with an SBS that has large stop spacing, removed Q20 service north of Northern Boulevard and south of Union Turnpike, proposed replacing the Q113/Q114 with an SBS that only made 3 stops in the Rockaways, to name a few?
What else?
The Q84 not going to 238, 85 not going to Green Acres, 43 not going to Jamaica Station. I could go on and on.

So, it seems to me that ridership is now back to pre pandemic levels

It was but he is talking about the original “N72” route before it cut to stay within Nassau some years back.
Yeah. I figured he was talking about the LIB version. Nice ain't sending routes to Suffolk this time

At this point from how I see it, the n72 is pretty much permanently discontinued, I likely doubt that bus service from Hempstead to Babylon would be restored.
Wasn't it cut back to Farmingdale?

Were the 4 DTBK-Ridgewood routes' (B26, B38, B52, B54) changes also introduced in the Queens redesign?
No they were not. Only the 53, 57 and 62

So the n72 was "temporarily" discontinued?

What does this have to do with this thread?
Perhaps I should have put this in the off topic lounge. The way he sets up his trivia, I was going to do a bus version of it

Isn't the supposed to replace the 10 in that part of South Ozone Park?

How are you coming to that conclusion?
Considering the B57 and 62 changes were introduced with the Queens redesign. It's similar to the M100 and 125 changes with the Bronx redesign

It's supposed to go into effect with the Queens routes. Even though some feel it shouldn't be a thing.

20 years ago, all 4 tracks on the Manhattan Bridge became available. And the demise of the diamond Q.

Why single out the Q98 in this instance? The proposed Q58 would also serve Fresh Pond subway....
I wasn't singling out the 98 per se. I felt it was overkill with the 38, 58 and 98 ending in Flushing.

B81: What if this route go across Beverly Rd instead of turning down Flatbush towards the junction? Possibly use the old terminal at the Brooklyn Terminal Market...
I would revert the old B23 and possibly use Clarendon but that may be too close the 8

While I do want the 38 to Fresh Pond (M), I don't think it would be feasible. There's the proposed 98.

And yeah, before Mermaid loop became a thing, it used to end over there by Brightwater Towers, where Brighton Beach av ends (well, at that point, it's considered West Brighton av IINM).
It is. After you cross Ocean Parkway

Similar to northern Brooklyn with the 48/69 swap. Also didn't the 68 stop dead by the aquarium at one time?

There's the B4 that would be rerouted to serve Coney Island albeit one block north of the station and B44 select to Coney Island Hospital.

From what I'm seeing, a lot of people dislike that change. Especially considering that a lot of people who use the route to get to KCC will now have to transfer to the B1 or B68 and likewise with B68 riders who want to go to Coney Island. I feel like this swap will be significantly more detrimental to the B49 than it will to the B68. That and the B48/B69 swaps are bad, and it's ironic because the 8 and 9 are swapped in either situation.
And possibly, all 4 switching depots. Hopefully in the final draft for Brooklyn, they'll revert back. But I do see the 49 losing it's limited service since it will be a local.
