As for the B67, at best, I'd maybe consider ending where they plan on ending those proposed B27's, if it were to run past Jay/Sands..... Otherwise, I'd have it go right back to terminating at Jay/Sands full time... I wonder how many people in Williamsburg after all this time, even know that the B67 runs in their neighborhood (albeit not in the "trendier" portion of the neighborhood, but still)....

I meant the Q67 reverting back if the Q39 is kept as is. The B67 can stay as is too

    1. the proposed B62 broken up into:
      • a combination of the proposed B27 & the proposed B62 b/w Downtown Brooklyn & Broadway, enroute to WBP
      • a route running between WBP & Astoria PJ's, doing portions of the current B62 north of WBP & portions of the proposed B62 in Queens (with modifications)
    2. the proposed Q39 broken up into:
      • the current Q39 from end to end
      • a route running b/w WBP & Astoria PJ's, doing most of the proposed Q39 route north of Court Sq & most of the current B62 south of Court Sq.

I would think option 2 is better. The 67 could stay as is too

The M55 terminates on 44th/6th... Ever since they split up the penultimate rendition of the M5 (Washington Hgts - South Ferry) into the current M5 & the current M55, the NB M7 in Midtown has seen a noticeable spike.... Although 42nd st. in general is a major street, folks riding along 6th are not getting on/off 42nd to the tune you might think they would.... 57th st & Columbus Circle easily sees more passenger activity on the M5 & M7 than 42nd on the M5/M7/M55.... So the way they ended up splitting the southern portion (as in, the current M55) of that rendition of the M5 in question, is a stub.... The M55 would be far more useful if it ran up to 59th, then stubbing over there 2 blocks north of 42nd.....

They can't send the M55 to Columbus Circle or Central Park South. The plan was not to revive the M6

For instance, the M55 should at least run to 59th (regardless if there's a multitude of routes running up/down 5th/6th).... Nobody on the Q18 cares that the Q67 continues down 69th st. to get to the (M).... LMFAO at the fact they stubbed the newest rendition of the Bx30 at Pelham Parkway (2)(when riders are clearly still taking the Bee Line routes along Boston Rd. to get to Fordham Plaza)...

Funny about the Q18...wasn't supposed to be the 69 St route in the original redesign going to Middle Village? As far as the Bx30, it's like the 1984 revamp on crack. Either keep it at Norwood or send it to Fordham Plaza.

Y’all still debating on the Q57-A train comparison thing? I thought it was clear it would not exactly work…. 🤔

But anyways, anyone know if the Q58/98-SBS plan the MTA doing is staying or was it cut?

It's like beating a dead horse. I highly doubt anybody from Floral Park or Queens Village is trying to get to the (A). It seems to me the only way this 57 will work if there's a bunch of short turns

Remember that like it was yesterday..... Yeah, while each trip served both hospitals, alternating trips terminated at one of the 2 hospitals.... From Queens, you either had the trips that panned southward toward Goldwater (to eventually end at Coler), or the trips that panned northward toward Coler (to eventually end at Goldwater)...

The way the 102 is set up, it could easily be 2 routes. One from Roosevelt Island to Queens Plaza and Astoria to Queens Plaza. But, there's the proposed 104 and 105 routes. Is it just me, or is the (MTA) trying to make Court Square more "lit" than Queens Plaza?

I remember that service pattern. That lasted until late 2009/ early 2010 when the MTA decided to eliminate some closely spaced stops and have all buses travel north before going south to the tram. Plus it eliminated the confusion on whether or not the bus would go to Goldwater or Coler Hospital first.

I think it alternated terminating at Goldwater and Coler as well. Might have to check the archives.

I prefer that too, however if they for some reason send the 75 to LN instead of the 88, that would be the next logical terminal for the 88 since it would stay on 73rd Avenue. 24 hours seems a drag. Maybe 5am - 12:30am?

But, the does the 26 get extended west to College Point? Do the 27 and 88 stay as is?

I hear what you saying, but if they do that, where you think the 88 should end up? If you ask me, they can send the 88 to 230th Street instead of the 27 and then keep the 26 at Francis and Hollis Court while the 27 remains as it is. Back to the 75, traffic wise nothing will change since it lets up past Springfield on the service road

I would rather the 26 end at Oakland Gardens and not give it 24 hour service

Well, I rode the 41 one time and while I was on it, the bus was like 80% empty between the Rockaway Station and Jamaica Avenue and Parsons Boulevard. Didn’t know the 41 ran via 111th tho 🤔 now I wonder why did they move the route to 109th?

They (MTA) wanted to streamline service in Richmond Hill and South Ozone Park.

Since you bought up the Q51, ima just state my opinion on that route, I don’t know how routing it via the old Q9A (Q89) route would work either cause I don’t think a lot of people want a bus that travels from Cambria to Ozone and beyond anyways, and isn’t Green Acres way closer than Gateway Mall to most riders along Linden to begin with? 🤔 I think the 51 was another route they did not think very through regarding your points about the A, and mine about the malls….

What’s y’all opinion on this route?

It's the (MTA) 's way of "connecting the dots" I'm kinda surprised that this Q51 isn't ending in Elmont like Q4 does for a possible interline. Green Acres is closer to Linden patrons than Gateway and to a lesser extent Queens Center. It's the whole negate traveling through Jamaica or Flushing spiel
