  1. When I lived in NYC, it was the Q113. It was one of only 2 routes that went from Jamaica to Far Rockaway
  2. From what I understood, 109 was the divider for South Richmond Hill and South Ozone Park. I guess you could go as far as saying the 41 and 112 aren't used interchangeably between Jamaica Center and Ozone Park
  3. I'm sorry did you mean, Richmond Hill? The Q112 doesn't serve South Ozone Park
  4. I don't know why either. I don't see any logical turnaround space at Jamaica Hospital Now I see it guys, thanks. I would say when this redevelopment ends, my money is on Terminal 4 will be the CTA
  5. Didn't they serve all terminals in JFK before the AirTrain existed? We know how that turned out. Another alternative was have them all terminate at Federal Circle, but that was out due to lack of space. I find that funny because Federal Circle was supposed to be a temporary terminal for the B15, Q3 and 10 (in addition to an extended Q6) in the redesign. Would be interesting to see what their signs would say to reflect this. I think addition to the M60, the Q48 doesn't have layover time at LaGuardia either after serving all of it.
  6. I'm just putting this out there. This QT18 is nothing but a pair of short turned routes (Q1 and 5). Granted all the Merrick routes used to end at 169 (F), and have a pit stop at the terminal. I see Jamaica Center would have some space leftover as well. The Q42 would be idiotically merged with the 65, completely bypassing Jamaica proper and the 83 would have no service West of Merrick
  7. That's only if the arena is open. Like Belmont Park itself. The signs will remain 225
  8. IIRC, the Q55 would be extended to 170 St, The Q24 and 54 are cut back to Jamaica Station. It's really another case of robbing Peter to pay Paul. Merrick and Brewer are oversaturated with LTD service for lack of a better term. I think the Terminal (Jamaica) would be left to bare bones: Q1-idiotically merged with a short turned Q5, with no service on Braddock Q2-stays as is, loses overnight service, starts at Merrick and Archer Q3-extended west to Jamaica Hospital Q17-wacky merges with the Q25 and 88 among others, reviving the Q75 in the process Q36-Merged with the Q110 and 112 Q43-extended to LIJ, no service west of Merrick Q76/77-Merged with the Q27 Q6/8/9/40- All would start at Parsons
  9. I'm sorry, isn't the Q36 merged with those 2? I think the Q2 stays as is
  10. Is it just me, or there would have been plenty of space at Jamaica Terminal had this redesign gone through? I see the Q6, 8, 9 and 40 starting at Parsons (F), the 41 eliminated since it serves "too many narrow streets" most of the TA routes would start at Merrick and Archer or extended westward.
  11. So the Q2 only goes to UBS Arena and not the 110? Weird. The M21 timetable says West Village, but the signs say Soho
  12. With UBS Arena open now, do the Q2 and 110 change their signs or stay at Belmont Park?
  13. Unauthorized person on the tracks, so no between Broadway Junction and Jamaica Center. I'm surprised the didn't say consider taking the Q24 or Q56 as an alternative
  14. I believe the eastern part of the Q84 as well. Springfield to 238
  15. The entitlement is real... I wonder how bad was it when the QBx1 had all those variants in and out of PBP
  16. How about, you didn't say anything, you drove the bus?
  17. Expect Delays Q7, Q9, Q41 and Q112 buses may experience delays because of construction on the Van Wyck Expy overpass at Rockaway Blvd Until further notice Posted: 11/03/2021 08:56AM If I remember correctly, the 9, 41 and 112 cross the Van Wyck but not at Rockaway Blvd
  18. Should Columbus Avenue be renamed Indigenous Peoples Avenue, since we're no longer honoring Christopher Columbus 😅😅😅🤣😂
  19. I would say the automatic bus stop announcements started in 2009 but only on select routes, but most bus operators still manually announce them.
  20. Wasn't the plan to extend the Q55 to Jamaica had the Q56 been eliminated because it duplicates the back in 2010 with the cuts?
  21. In 2014, I got lucky. I was taking my daughter to the Children's Museum. I got off the at Rockefeller Center thinking we're getting an uptown M7. Low and behold, it was running on 8 due to a street fair and the driver let us on. Maybe I should have done my research more and took the to 50. In 2009, I was let off a detoured then M16 at Lexington and 28.
