hey, quick question. i tried to use my pass on the Q8 today because we had to go to Pitkin yard. both times i got on the Q8 my pass was "invalid" and the 2nd time the bus driver said it won't work on the old Green Bus Lines. but when they gave us our pass they said it will work on all local buses. what gives????? edit: the bus drivers had no problem letting me on but i just wanna know because i don't like using my pass where i'm not supposed to (LIRR, etc.)

looking at the schedule, it's not that we have 3 months in the yard after 6 months of training, the 3 months in the yard are smack in the middle of training (July 1st-Sept 20th), then we go back to schoolcar. so i guess i wont be going to the mega-concert of Matchbox Twenty and Goo Goo Dolls on Aug. 17th after all . i will be in the yards with rotating shifts and days off. i thought i'd at least be OK for the summer

That would be VERY interesting. How many road extras do they need in each division? Because I'm wondering, if they need for example 100 road extras. After 5 months you'd be able to pick, right? Because you'd have the seniority over 5 classes of 20 (100 people)

I was put on medical hold in november. I had to get a note from my therapist saying i wasnt homicidal/suicidal, but she was in italy for 2 weeks. When i finally got the letter in mid december i was about to close on a co-op i bought and my lawyer advised me not to "quit my job" until we closed on the co-op so i held on to the letter until dec 28th. Then i had to schedule an appointment with the MTA psychiatrist to get evaluated, and for whatever reason they couldnt schedule me until this past tuesday, the 15th. Then i went back to get officially cleared today and got the bad news

Well, i got some pretty shitty news today. I got cleared from medical hold then found out that DCAS took my name off the list without permission because i took too long to get off medical hold. So i went immediately to 1 Centre St to get my name restored to the list. All of you will be senior to me, as they said i wont be called until march or april. This means no jan 28, no feb 25, no mar 25 for me
