finally operated the dreaded R68 on our road trip yesterday. TSS had me flying into a downgrade station at 35mph and hit a hard break 1/4 the way in. but i made the stop! you just gotta get it under control so you can release the brake to the 10 car marker

its impossible to know how much seniority you gave up. you might have been the highest rank in the april class so you gave up 40 spots. you might have had the lowest rank in the april class so you gave up 0 spots

hey, quick question. i tried to use my pass on the Q8 today because we had to go to Pitkin yard. both times i got on the Q8 my pass was "invalid" and the 2nd time the bus driver said it won't work on the old Green Bus Lines. but when they gave us our pass they said it will work on all local buses. what gives????? edit: the bus drivers had no problem letting me on but i just wanna know because i don't like using my pass where i'm not supposed to (LIRR, etc.)

looking at the schedule, it's not that we have 3 months in the yard after 6 months of training, the 3 months in the yard are smack in the middle of training (July 1st-Sept 20th), then we go back to schoolcar. so i guess i wont be going to the mega-concert of Matchbox Twenty and Goo Goo Dolls on Aug. 17th after all . i will be in the yards with rotating shifts and days off. i thought i'd at least be OK for the summer

That would be VERY interesting. How many road extras do they need in each division? Because I'm wondering, if they need for example 100 road extras. After 5 months you'd be able to pick, right? Because you'd have the seniority over 5 classes of 20 (100 people)

No, i didnt tell them what the hold up was. They told me come back as soon as possible so thats what i did. Its not the MTA that took me off the list, its DCAS. I had to go back to 1 Centre St to have my name re-enstated
