  1. Something about how 2015 is two years from now (like we cant count) and how its going to take longer to retire the R32s than the R42s due to the amount of cars.
  2. The R62s and R68s also have the benefit of being made in a time where the started to take maintenance and "testing out things before you buy it" more seriously. And to the issues of the R42s, current literature has them as being replaced by the R179s, regardless of the current deplorable conditions of the cars or any unconfirmed information we've herd.
  3. More problems along the Delays Posted: 12/23/2012 12:52PM Due to track maintenance on the Manhattan Bridge, downtown and trains are running with delays at this time. Service Change Posted: 12/23/2012 12:48PM Due to switch trouble at the Whitehall Street-South Ferry Station, trains are running on the line from the Canal Street Station to the DeKalb Avenue Station in both directions. Please expect delay in , and train service at this time.
  4. Delays Posted: 12/22/2012 8:02PM train service is running with delays in both directions at Kosciuszko St Station. Any word on whats snarling service?
  5. No one with a working frontal lobe took the idea of the returning to New Lots seriously...
  6. They might decide to do something else, it is the . So far, all of the sources and information provided have suggested that the will get R62A's. The reason being that the is completely R142A, and those cars are being converted and sent to the . Some of the numbers might be off, but then the fleet will be 11 cars so it might not use the traditional A division standard of numbering.
  7. When I saw I was just as confused as you. The only thing I can think of is a train switching tracks that had an issue. In any event servive is restored, except uptown trains are bypassing 155th
  8. Service Change Posted: 10/26/2012 10:40PM Due to mechanical problems at 155 St, there is no train service in both direction between 145 St and 205 St. Customers are advised to use train service which makes nearby station stops.
  9. Any word on what happened? Or better yet, any word on why it took nine bloddy hours to fix this mess?
  10. You must have been livid during the shutdown. The is probably a madhouse right now. I feel bad for the people who have to get to Astoria.
  11. The R46s are getting rehabbed to extend their life for SIR service, so theyre not a source of concern for the MTA.
  12. I wouldn't count on the © nor the getting R160s once the R179s come. I dont have any proof, but a gut feeling and looking at how the MTA operates.
  13. No it wont. The miracle will be segments 3 and 4. Phase 1 will open sometime before the end of the decade, and phase 2 probably ten years after (If I were a betting man Id say 2029).
