agreed, simply put the united states does not need HSR, no matter what company would run it they would lose money which would probally put the economy in a even tighter spot, the United States needs to keep what there doing and thats aircraft's. but if you go a little up North to Canada we could use a HSR heck we already have VIA Rail Canada that does travel all across canada but that's because our country is considerablly smaller than the us. so thats just my opinion... piece
