I didn’t know there was a discord tracking bot for buses 😅

It does ruin the fun going out looking for the units yourself to collect evidence as a source (that’s to moves that are confirmed) and lazy without effort. And a shortcut way that leads to dead ends. That’s  just my thought. The tracker is okay only if you’re going to school, a place to be or work from A to B looking to see if your bus is coming or not, but not as officially a straight point as it’s finished from what I’ve learned.

Also, there are some buses that’s in service but has the tracker broken. Basically, seeing it is better than believing it but that’s my take.

  2. 4081: Eastchester from passenger service to JFK now to Eastchester for scrap. All parts were removed and is currently hooked into a tow truck to the scrap lot.

    * Said bus did enter service at JFK. However, it’s no longer repairable and not able to run properly so, it’s put to as retired from service.

  3. Also, with the 2008 Next Gens being retired at JFK, there are units along with the 2009 units that has version 3, cleverdevice screens. I wonder if they can still be transferrable to other buses. I have yet to see the 4800s in Brooklyn (4810-4899) and the upper 8000 Novas in Queens (8061-8089) with the screens by the rear door.

According to Calvin 3802&3822 are both retired. Don’t know for sure about 3860 or 4145 but, I suspect that 4145 is retired or is in long term maintenance because it hasn’t ran since late December.

Swing (break room) or indicator bus at JFK. Indicator is like a obstacle to tell that it's around one of the buses that are retired from service not to use.

Have those been towed out or are still sitting at the depot?

They are still sitting at the depot but not towed yet. Only 3712, 3753 and 3816 were towed today.

3759, 3806, 3984: now retired at JFK. But, not towed yet to ECH

I’m guessing the Ts will not run on the A for a while. Also will 3074-3077/3110-3113 be permanently stationed at pitkin?

207 St for maintenance but loaned due to the (M) route shortened and lots of spare trains at ENY . It's stored at Pitkin for the overnight hours.

  8. There’s no more R160s running on the (C) (again, last assignment was the R32 shuffle as 8593-8652, 9943-9974) reflecting back from the past update. The last one ran did ran in service last Monday (8393-8396/8509-8512) and was swapped out with a ENY R179 (3074-3077/3110-3113) before the first day of February and first day of R211T in passenger service .

For now, the fleet of the (A)(C) are mixed of R46s, R179s (5-car for the A and Shuttle with 4-car for the C) and R211s (the T is only for the C, the standard is for the A).  The (J)(Z) still uses the R179 but not much.
