  1. Easier to hit a cricket ball. Mitchell Johnson would like a word:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kv5HXNq_YY0 Hit that. It's also a good example of why taking your eyes off the ball is a very bad idea.
  2. This afternoons wind change hasn't made life easy for our fire fighters. The Emergency warning(The red ones) are the major fires at the moment. The Watch and Act(Orange ones) are ones that there is a worry but nothing life threatening.
  3. How's this for a Finish. Australia looked like they would loose for all money. England only needed one wicket. Cue James Faulkner: It was the Highest run chase in One Day Internationals at the Gabba.
  4. Only $15. I was expecting something like 20. Perhaps I'm used to the ripoff prices they charge at the grounds here. for a cup of beer(375ml) it's $6. And depending on the time of day during the footy it is ether mid strength or light. A 600 ml soda $4.60. Most things such as pies and chips are floating around the 5-6 dollar mark. And it's not like its a big bucket of chips or anything.
  5. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/24401473/seahawks-selling-marshawn-lynch-the-beast-burger-with-side-of-skittles I'm imagining there's going to be some sort of ridicules price tag attached to that.
  6. In all my time watching cricket I've never seen a ball move this much http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0mbYP_Ui8Y
  7. It's freezing cold over there. Snowing and what not. This is how my Football team deals with the situation on thier training camp in Boulder: Now there's another football team over at Boulder doing a training camp aswell. This is thier response to the snow: http://www.essendonfc.com.au/news/2013-12-05/dons-forced-inside-in-boulder They've been doing thier fair share of ducking. They're the team thats currently under investigation for using performance enhancing drugs
  8. I properly wouldn't want to be on the other end of that especially with them going about145-150km/h(90-93mph).
  9. Im guessing the system forgot about the other 7 cars.
  10. http://www.news.com.au/technology/american-network-nbc-publishes-map-showing-the-whole-of-australia-is-on-fire-oops/story-e6frfrnr-1226746114107 NBC might want to use a map. Namely this one: http://www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/dsp_content.cfm?CAT_ID=683
  11. Been all go in NSW at the moment. Quite a few large bushfires burning. Sadly a loss of houses has happened. Emergency warning have been issused for 7 fires. Another 4 are on Watch and Act. A 20KM traffic jam is waiting to get into Sydney on the M31 Hume Motorway which is currently closed due to one of the fires.
  12. I do laugh at our media. On Fox Sports News they reported one of our players was set to be traded to Essendon despite earlier on during Trade "week"(Now 3 weeks) that the player wasn't on the table to go anywhere. I don't know where they got thier facts from. You should try watching stuff over here. Filled with ads and self promotion. During sport it's very common. Then they insult us by putting it on thier SD channel!
  13. Currently: Friday night football. Hawthorn vs Collingwood on Triple M 105.1FM
  14. http://www.mcg.org.au/Media/Media%20Releases/2013/August/Visionboards.aspx These things are going to be massive compaired to the old ones: http://img812.imageshack.us/img812/225/z9am.jpg Just in time for the Boxing day test. The umpires won't have to pack thier glasses.
  15. *Buys football tickets* For 46 bucks 4 rows from the front. Can't complain really. Although I have had front row for 20.
  16. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPr7fpI-k7Y&feature=youtu.be A rather famous TV advert over here.
  17. I'm trying to pick if it's using the original whistle on 4472 or the South Australian 720 Class one. If I recall it was fitted after it's trip to Victoria because the original wasn't loud enough. There's some nice footage of the Perth rail cars before electrification. Most ended up in NZ. No footage from the East coast i see. From those that were around at the time said Our green machine(3801) spent most of it's time pushing 4472 while pulling the rest of the train.
  18. They've got it all wrong. If it appeared on the screens it would be blurry and Fuzzy. Channel 7 do the coverage after all!
  19. The lights go out during the superbowl. Crowd just sits there. Lights go out a Arctic Park in 1996. Crowd tears the goal posts down and set fire to the place: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=g16aC3nRSsw
  20. Brisbane can't seem to take a trick at the moment. Under the threat of floods again!
  21. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151194367645976&set=a.156743400975.129599.137164775975&type=1&relevant_count=1&ref=nf When the fans are bored the world's largest beer snake forms! It's a fair effort that. At least 4 bays of the SCG!
  22. It's a real stinker in NSW at the moment. 40c+ at the moment. The Rural Fire Service is being kept on it's feet. A couple of fires in the SE of NSW have been upgraded to Emergency Warning. Along with a couple in the Riverena. One shutting the M31 Hume Highway. The Emergency alert WIN had get's to the point: At least 130 fires burning in NSW at the moment. 5 of them at the moment are Emergency Warning, Yarrabin Fire (Cooma-Monaro LGA), Deans Gap fire (Shoalhaven), Sand Hills fire (Palerang), Mates Gully Tarcutta (Wagga Wagga), Cobbler Road Fire (Jugiong)
  23. http://www.bom.gov.a...801.94951.shtml 54c(130F) in Tasmania.....Don't think so! Here's the culprit: http://www.fire.tas....=83599940755833 In fact within that minute the temp was recorded at 59.9c(139.2F) You can tell somthing is not right with the Min being 37c recorded 20 minutes ago! It's not good news in Tasmania. Two fires are still classed as EMERGENCY WARNING. The one that's causing the main issues is East of Hobart. 80 Homes have been destoryed and the A9 Arthur Highway has been blocked. The issue with this is it's the only road south to the tasmanian peninsula. The other fire is North of Hobart near the A3 Tasman Highway near Bicheno.
  24. http://www.saints.co...82/default.aspx I do wonder if the Broncos will come for a visit to Lovely Seaford: At least it's next to the freeway.
