  1. Bugger. 36c on New Years eve. I have a feeling there will be a few dead A/Cs on the trains.
  2. Unbelievable a Draw. We do it all over again next week.
  3. Just under an hour and a half until the Aussie rules Grand final. The nerves are slowly building. My team(St Kilda Saints) is in the final for the second year in a row. CARN THE SAINTERS!!!
  4. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/blaze-evacuates-fountain-gate-shopping-centre/story-e6frf7jo-1225917365186 The wierd thing is I was in the shopping less than 2 minutes before!
  5. I think these 2 articles describe the weekend in Victoria: http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/victoria/strong-winds-lash-victoria/story-e6frf7kx-1225914355814 http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/victoria/wave-of-despair-floods-victoria/story-e6frf7kx-1225914253598
  6. Phew! What an evening. St Kilda scraped through with a 4 point win. A great finish to the game. At least we get a week off to rest.
  7. Seems Adelaide is being drowned at the moment and looking at the Lightning chart a lightshow aswell. Maybe the BOM arn't fibbing about the large ammount of rain we are expecting. A lot of yellow, orange and red on the weather radar. Last time we got a bit of rain the roof at SX sprung a few leaks and trams were sitting at least 30-50 cm of water. Water was sitting in the stairwell! Some woman has already been hit Lightning.
  8. Seems next weeks Rush episode will be about a runaway train. 707 Operations cars and Loco T413 are the consist. I do wonder if it's supposed to be a commuter train. Be a bit odd with a VR liveried T, A mix of VR red and WCR cars and the 707 DT car. At least there is some realism. The ACZ is in. Train should have a conductor/guard.
  9. I validated a metcard for the last time today. From now on it's 100% Myki.
  10. Humm there is an advert on our TV at the moment with a bloke from Wollies(A supermarket chain) with a BBQ on a New York street cooking Australian Beef and giving it off giving samples to The NYC population.
  11. Well thankfuly he didn't get skittled. From what I read it was a local. Not a gunzel. Eather way he is an absloute dill.
  12. http://railgallery.wongm.com/y112-ballarat-august-2010/E104_7575.jpg.html *Sigh* I would love to know what was going through this idiot's mind...
  13. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ockIyDTUCfk&feature=search I think BJ is going to get a new car after that effort. Mark of the year by far!
  14. 3 channels and a website. All of them have different election result. Go figure!
  15. So Sausage in Bread day has arrived. 14 million people can vote in the election today. 1.4 have already voted via postal votes and pre votes. Although I'm enjoying the Footy. Goddard has just taken a screamer.
  16. My Saturday afternoon has been locked in nicely. Saints vs Tigers live on the telly. Don't know why it's live. Hardly a blockbuster game. 3rd vs 15th. I expect the St Kilda to give Richmond a good bath. I suspect it might have somthing to do with the election being on the same day.
  17. I note the Monash Freeway is a total carpark. A nice long 40KM traffic jam. It would proberly be better on the Princess Highway and it's 60 odd traffic lights for the same length.
  18. 3801 by Ray King & Ron Russell. It's a song about Australian steam locomotive 3801.
  19. My best by far. Historic W class tram SW6.896 powers over the Latrobe Street bridge on a Route 30 service to St Vincent's Plaza(City-Brunswick St)
