    Finally got to ride a new Artic on the B44 bus 5334 tonight nice ride. To bad the seats in the rear already have got graffiti on some of them. But could someone tell me why some of them have chains on the rear wheels??? I seen and heard 5341 and 5349 go pass me with the chains on. I was walking and yes the ground was wet, but not slippery. No need for the chains, this was around 730pm tonight.

    I totally agree with you on everything you said.... The same shit happens on the B6 all the time.... Local??? Limited????

    Oh OK..... I'm not going to argue with you about dirty buses In my opinion, all that should matter is that the bus gets us to where we have to go safely! Not how clean it is.

    Well they have been washed, until it got to cold to use the wash. As for the maintenance, (from what I heard) UP has/had the lowest amount of road calls in brooklyn.

    Well whenever the buses gets fueled they would also get washed, as long as the bus wash is working.

    The reason UP Prevosts and the rest of there buses are not being cleaned, is because the bus wash is shut down. They do that when it's near or below freezing. The water freezes in the area by the wash and all around the outside of the depot in the streets. And becomes very icy.

    I guess they changed it till today/tonight. I know they all had to be off the road by tonight. So I guess we will see what happenes, you never know with the TA

    They are keeping you busy with all these moves. BTW Thanks for all the work you do with the roster and keeping it updated. It comes in very handy.

    From what I heard earlier today U P was getting buses 7033,7035,7036,7043,7044,7046,7049 and 7054 ready to be sent to SI tonight.

    There where 2 in the back of outside yard getting the cameras put in them earlier in the day.

    As of earlier today there where only 3 Novas left at UP.

    Thanks. Also they have been putting most of QV buses on the shuttle work this weekend, because The fareboxs need to be updated or something. It's seems the fareboxs are not doing the designation signs correctly.

    There are at least 9 more xcelsiors at UP from QV 4820, 4832 and 4833 came in today and the QV drivers took back 8036,8037 and 8038. 4811,4817,4818,4826,4827 and 4835 are at the depot and some are out in service! And from what I heard, another 3 xcelsiors coming in tonight and 3 more nova's are going.

    Congratulation... Welcome to the bus operator's family! As for what happens now, they should have told you! Usually you would finish line training, then be on your own, on the upcoming Sunday!! Enjoy being off on the Saturday after your training is done. You won't be seeing weekends off for a while... LOL Congrats again!! PS. Do everything how they taught you, for the next year. You are and will be on probation for at least a year and they will be watching you.

    I heard that 8931 and 9090 where scheduled to go to ENY sometime today

    Yea I know the place is pretty packed lately inside and outside. I know, a lot of the drivers changed with the system pick and being the heart of winter.

    Oh they did go! That's good more room for the new buses!

    Buses 2805,2812,2816,2828 and 2853 where scheduled to go to QV this morning from UP. Not sure if they went or not yet.
