  1. Why not have the go to 9 Av/Bay Pkwy during normal service, and rush hours with some peak directional Express trains? On weekends and late nights, cut it to Whitehall St?
  2. I already posted this scenario... via the Jamaica Ctr to Broad St (Nassau Express) via the ( M ) Broad St to DeKalb Av via the DeKalb Av to Prospect Pk via the Prospect Pk to Brighton Beach (Brighton Express) via the 96 St to Pacific St (4 Av Local) via the Pacific St to 5 Av (Broadway Local) [DeKalb Av Bypass] via the 5 Av to 71 Av (Queens Blvd Local) via the Canal St to City Hall via the Chambers St to 242 St (Broadway/7 Av Local) via the City Hall to 14 St (Lexington Av Local) via the 14 St to Woodlawn (Lexington Av Express) ( 5 ) via the ( 5 ) Dyre/Nereid Av to 149 St via the ( 2 ) 149 St to Nevins St via the ( 5 ) Nevins St to Flatbush Av
  3. When you say shorten the , what exactly do you mean? Cut it to Astoria? 57 St?
  4. via the 34 St to 145 St/Bedford Park Blvd (6 Av Express/CPW/Grand CC Local) via the 205 St to 47-50 Sts (Grand CC/CPW Express) via the 47-50 Sts to Coney Island (6 Av Local/Viaduct/PS/Culver Express) via the 179 St to 21 St (Queens Blvd Express) via the 21 St to Prospect Park (Broadway Express) via the Prospect Park to Brighton Beach (Brighton Express) via the Brighton Beach to Coney Island via the Court Sq to Church Av (Crosstown/Viaduct/PS Local) via the Church Av to Coney Island (Culver Local)
  5. So you are basically saying that the should go to 9 Av. I think the should go to Whitehall and the <W> should just be an extension to Bay Parkway. No weekend service.
  6. Why would you want three lines (All Three Lines) from Broadway ending at Coney Island? I doubt that the and the would need help from the at night. I know some say the is going to 57 St in the night and on weekends, but I think that it is going to 72 St or 125 St. If you sent the to Continental again, you might as well just make the brown. If the Crosstown Local went back out there, just put the back to Chambers or Broad all times, just like back in the day. And BROTHER, the and to 179 St? I think the and do a pretty good job already. If they brought back the , and put it from Bay Pkwy to Astoria Ditmars Blvd, they could surely run the as Express all times in the peak direction.
  7. Because according to the track map, all the switches are set in favor of the , with the exception of the downtown from Grand Concourse. Have a look; Nothing can go up Concourse. You said it yourself that the switches were broken. The would be fine, but the would have no choice but to run via the Local to 168 St.
  8. The switches are set in the favor of 207 St. via the Brighton Beach to 47-50 Sts (Brighton/6 Av Express) via the 47-50 Sts to 21 St via the 36 St to 71 Av (Queens Blvd Local) via the Coney Island to 59 St (West End Local/4 Av/6 Av Express) via the 59 St to 168 St (CPW/UWS Local) via the 161 St to 205 St via the 161 St to 205 St
  9. I see you have requested a ton-load of signs. Excuse me for being a meddler, but what are all of them for?

  10. The Manhattan bound Local track is blocked chief. Trains run via the W4 to Jay St, then normally. Trains run to Chambers or Broad Sts.
  11. God damn just go with it man. You haven't even posted a scenario.
  12. An R32 train has broken down in the middle of switching onto the Express track between Canal and Prince Sts. The Work train comes on the downtown Express track to help out. In essence, the only thing usable on the Broadway past 34 St/Herald Square is the Downtown Local track.
  13. If they were to add in more stops, they would surely need an Express. If anywhere, probably when the joins. There are no modern 3T Peak-Direction projects that have happened recently, all of them have either been 2T or 4T. A 4T where the joins could enable the to run Express north, and the Local. If they decided however to keep the stops that the concept map shows, a 3T would do the job. I am not sure if they are making a yard for the subway, but a third track could come in handy for not only this, but all times peak direction Express, being in the morning, the comes on the Express towards Midtown, and in the afternoon/evening, it goes out of Midtown. It will be the 4th 3T in manhattan, the , , and holding the other 3.

  16. Normal routes, respectively via the 71 Av to Van Wyck (Queens Blvd Express) via the Van Wyck to 179 St via the Metro Av to Essex St (Nassau Local) via the Essex St to Chambers/Broad St via the 95 St to 71 Av (4 Av/Broadway/Queens Blvd Local) via the 71 Av to 179 St
