  1. It's really unrealistic and foamy.

    Whatever you say Chief.

    NEXT

Due to police investigations, the uptown local tracks are impassable at 23 St (F)(M) and 23 St (C)(E).

    (M) Myrtle Av to Chambers/Broad St via Nassau Local

    (F) via 6 Av Express W4 to 34 St, then normal service to Queens

    (C) No service

    (A) via Fulton/UWS Local, 8 Av/CPW Express to replace the (C)

    (E) via 8 Av Express Canal St to 42 St, then normal service to Queens

  2. Re-route all Lefferts bound (A) trains to Brighton Beach via Manhattan Bridge, and Brighton Exp.

Discontinue the (C) assuming the (B) is running via local.

Nice try, but not what I was looking for.

Queens Boulevard is shut down. Reroute away.

  3. Well, according to the surrounding area north of 96th St. and pre-existing tunnels, Phase II could be built on time, however it all depends on the (MTA), the Contracters, local CBD's and City Hall. I do hope Phase II gets built on time, but still the (MTA) first have to secure funding for Phase II, it looks like, for now, Phase II is going to be built due to political interest, however we don't know what lays in the future.

    WAIT WAIT WAIT.

    Pre-existing tunnels?

  4. Yes, because we can't read minds!

Ayee you got me now. YOU GOT ME NOW!!!

Due to a switch failure, the northbound express track is closed at 34 St - Herald Sq (6 Av platform).

    Be creative.

Well I guess I can't take the easy way out. So I'll be super creative.

    (F) via Brighton/Broadway Express, then via 63 St, Queens Blvd Express to 179 St.

    (B) via Culver/6 Av/CPW Local, Park Slope Express, to 145 St.

    (D) via 6 Av/8 Av Local, CPW Express, Grand CC Local, to 205 St

  5. What the hell does "All (B) trains must run to Lefferts" mean? Are there so many broken switches that makes the CPW local go to Lefferts and Lefferts only? In that case the (A)(C)(D)(E) lines would all be affected also.

Screw it. Y'all just don't think the way I do.

  6. What's stopping me from saying to suspend all (B) train service and create a new line, let's call it the X train and send it along the current (B) line?

So you just gonna cut all Brighton Express, CPW Local service. Well played. This one has a future in the Transit biz for sure chief.

  7. Reroute (4)(5)(B)(Q) trains, keeping tph in account. Please avoid through-running or extending the (S)...it's not realistic.

    (2) Trains go to Flatbush and New Lots Avs (EP/7 Av Local)

    (3) 14 St to 148 St. (7 Av Express)

    (4) Extended to New Lots Av. (EP Local/Lexington Av Express)

    (5) To Bowling Green (Lexington Av Express)

    (B) To Coney Island (4 Av /West End Express Peak)

    (Q) To Coney Island (4 Av/Sea Beach Local)

    (S) To Brighton Beach with additional 6 Car R68[A] consists (Brighton Local)

The West End and Sea Beach Lines lost all 3rd power. How do you handle the situation.

  8. Thanks for updating the projects.

Last time I checked the forum was undergoing maintenance so I didn't worry about it too much, but it sounds like it's been up for a while now. Not really a fan of taking pictures(and using up the last bits of storage in my long-lived Photobucket account, which I plan to upgrade later on) but a lot of projects are under re...re-construction.

Can't wait on the tunnels. I have to move on, and it looks like they can use an update. I don't have a set of textures, but i'm working on it. You know the tunnels are too dark to take pictures of, so i have to work around that. Working off of something, but it could be better. for now though, i'll be experimenting with different textures until I get something that looks like our tunnels.

While Ace works on his hometown projects, I'm getting back on the scene. I have obligations now, and I'm not always going to update projects on time, but you can best believe that you'll never get a bad update. The Elevated tracks are getting a facelift, coming from those cartoonish ones I made in the past and into the more realistic one currently under development. More texture use and less polygons using a new program which I call Overlay, in which we take a large overhead texture of our project and project it down onto our model, and then cut along the "dotted lines" until we get the final results, posted above.

The R142 is coming along smoothly. Thanks to some cab photos on Photobucket, authors credited, as well as some exterior shots I took myself, the 142 is going to be done a lot faster than I had originally anticipated, which means that you guys will have something to run IRT with, in the near future. Thinking of collaborating to do some other subway cars, but for now I just have to focus on the 142, and then the 160. Contributions, as I said, are greatly appreciated. I'm going to start working on the B car and then start doing some test runs on the cars in due time. Stay tuned.

As far as I know, the Elevated stations aren't done yet, and will be receiving a facelift. The open-cut stations are still a work in progress, and aren't too far along to have to start all over. I managed to get all the necessary textures for them so I'll start work on them soon. No start or release date, as always.

    Well look who's back.

Welcome back BStyles. I helped get everyone somewhat up-to-speed of what you have been doing with the new tracks, underground and EL, the R142, and the new stations that I saw you built, all the stuff you put on the Auran Forums. Well I guess you can take over all that now. Nice to see you again.

  9. is anyone missing the (W) line?

I don't miss the most recent one, but the old one, yes. (Q)<Q>(W) Express, (N)(R) Local. I live at Cortelyou, and I never really liked to play it easy to get home from my Aunt's work on Union Square. I always took the (W) to Pacific St for the <Q> to Church Av, then the (Q) to Cortelyou. Or just the <Q> to Church Av, and then home with the (Q). I loved the <Q> so much because of those R40Ss, and on the weekend, sometimes the (Q) had them. I saw one on the (R) once at Whitehall St one weekend when the (Q) was rerouted. I can always remember this distinct moment looking up from the (Q) near DeKalb and seeing the back of the (W), and another moment looking down form the (W) and seeing the back of the (Q).

  10. trainguy97: Can you post up the picture on what the new side signs for the R68 will look like.

I combed through the 2247 images of R46, no luck. First page of the R44, bam. This is what they are supposed to look like. Make that my mistake, beta tested on the R44.

  11. Due to a busted sewer pipes, no trains can pass any Central Park West lines.

    NO SHUTTLE BUSES.

Sure, but you never said no (S)'s did you.

    (B)(D) to 34 Street (6 Av/Brighton/4 Av Express/West End Local)

    (S) 161 St to 205 St (Grand CC Local)

    (S) 168 St to 207 St (UWS Local)

    (A) Times Square to Lefferts and Far Rockaway (8 Av/Fulton Local)

    (C) No Service

  12. Well, I know one thing, if it isn't fixed, they better fix this problem sooner rather than later or the Rockaways will suffer from a complete lack of service, especially when the R211s are ordered and start replacing the R46s. Not unless they (the (MTA)) plan to use the R68/R68As for the (A).

    R211s, quite a bump ahead.

They put R68s on the (G), so I would not be surprised about them going to the (A). I also heard that they are going to upgrade the R68 side signs. I saw a picture of what they are supposed to look like if they come, they were BETA tested on the R46.

  13. Canal St (J)(N)(Q)(R)(6) closed and impassable. The (4)(5) tracks are unaffected however.

(J)(Z) Esssex St to Jamaica Center (Nassau Express Peak)

    (N) 34th Street to Astoria Ditmars (Broadway/Astoria Local)

    (Q) Brighton Beach to Prospect Park (Brighton Local)

    (D) via 4th Av Local

    (B) via West End Brighton Beach to 47/50 Sts in both directions (West End Express Peak/4th Av Local), then normal route

    (S) Franklin to Kings Hwy (Brighton Express)

(6)<6> Lexington Av Express until 14 St

    (R) Bay Ridge Shuttle (4th Avenue Express)

Yellow (S) Pacific Street to Coney Island (4th Avenue Express/Sea Beach Local)

    Additional Information

Yellow (S) runs Local between 59 St and 36 St in both directions, and Express to Pacific St

    (R) trains run Express between 59 St and 36 St in both directions

    (S) runs 6 Car consist

    (B) trains run through Coney Island on the (Q), then merge onto the (D)

Downtown (B) trains stop at DeKalb Avenue

If I missed something, do not hesitate to tell me.

    ---------------------------/-----------\-----------------

    <- Prospect Park-----------Parkside Avenue->

The Local Tracks are basically the Franklin (S) tracks. Yep you are right about the (B)(Q), but the switch is only used by the Local.
